Looking to get the most value for a weed and feed type product for maintenance accounts.

Obviously I want to save whatever I can but I'm looking for assistance learning the details of all the different herbicides and fertilizer so I can give customers the most value each time I treat their yards.

Answer:

We have lawn care schedules here that might help.  We do try to list most information on each product page and do have the labels for each on the site as well.  What herbicides to use is going to depend on the type of grass the lawns are and what type of weeds you are trying to control.  For fertilizers this is going to vary depending on the nutrients that are needed and could vary each time. It is recommended to use a soil analysis test kit or taking a sample of your soil to your local cooperative extension so it can be analyzed to determine what nutrients your soil is lacking. The healthiest, hardiest lawns are fertilized 2-4 times per year, fall, summer, early spring and late spring.
