Great Stuff at a great price
By Todd on 11/04/2013
I paid too much for the butt-crack pest control tech to come out to my place and attempt to maintain my home/property. After watching this bozo do a poor job and asking 20 questions about his profession, I became convinced I could do a better job myself. After researching the requirements I bought a good sprayer + respirator and now I save $100s doing the spraying myself. I only wish I had done this earlier. Permerthrin is fairly safe to use. Simply follow mix + application directions.

Did the job quite well and shipped fast
By Re' on 01/09/2014
I needed this in a hurry (Like Yesterday) and DoMyOwnPestControl.com was the only one online that I found offering next day shipping at an extra cost. The product worked very well the first time, but I retreated the area after 7 days just to be safe and issue was resolved 100%. Martins has a great built in measurement system and for my experience both Martins Permethrin 10% and DoMyOwnPestControl.com exceeded expectations. Thank You!

Martin's Permethrin 10%

Permethrin

Some invectiicides state they need to be used within 24 hours after being mixed with water. Is this the case with martin's 10% permethrin? And if so how much martins permethrin needs to be added to 16 fl oz to make a 0.10% solution? I need to make a bedding and furniture spray for sarcoptic mange.
Martins Permethrin 10% is effective once it's mixed with water, remember that water is the carrier that allows the product to be applied evenly. Just as with other insecticides, the product must be used within 24 hours of being diluted otherwise the effectiveness does decrease. According to the label, to create a .10% solution, you will need to mix 1.33 ounces per gallon of water or for a pint of solution that will equal about 0.16 oz per 16 oz of water. According to the label though, if you're doing a dog dip you will need to use at least 8 ounces in 12.5 gallons of water, please read over the label for more information and treatment dilutions. Also, we do recommend to see your pets veterinerian for treatment.
