To treat for fleas indoors, you would mix the Martins Permethrin 10% at the rate of 1.33 oz per gallon of water per 1000 sq. ft., and the Precor IGR at the rate of 1 oz per gallon of water. Both concentrates can be mixed together in the same gallon of water. Pets and people (other than the person making the application) do need to stay out of the area while the products are being applied and until everything is fully dry. If you need to treat for several months, then we would recommend rotating the Permethrin with another product such as Conquer Insecticide, since cats can be sensitive to the active ingredient Permethrin.

Your cat should not be present during the application and while the surfaces are wet. Once the water has dissipated and dried, your cat could return. This should only take a couple of hours.
