    How much Martins Permethrin 10% do I use to treat my yard for ticks?

    Per the product label, thoroughly wet down grass a few hours prior to applying Martins Permethrin 10%. Home lawns should be not more than 3 inches tall at the time of application. For ticks, use 1.5 oz in 10 gallons of water to cover 1,000 sq ft. For heavy infestations repeat application in 2 weeks.

    Is Martins Permethrin 10% good for chinch bugs?
    A

    Yes, Martins Permethrin 10% is labeled to treat for chich bugs. Per the product label you would thoroughly wet down grassa few hours before applying. Home lawns should be no taller than 3 inches at time of application. Slightly more water may be used as long as the amount of product per area is as listed below. For heavy infestations, repeat application after 2 weeks. You would use 1.5 fl ozs in 10 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq ft.

    Can I apply Martins Permethrin 10% to a feral hog. If so, how do I mix it?
    I caught a wild hog piglet and she's covered in bugs.

    Martins Permethrin 10% is safe to apply to adult livestock per the product label instructions. "For a pig, you would mix 8 oz to 25 gallons of water and apply a pint per pig (sponged on avoiding ears) for listed insect control". Please contact Control Solutions for further assistance on a feral piglet at 281-892-2500.

    How do you use Martins Permethrin 10% to spray cattle?
    A

    When using Martins Permethrin 10% for treating cattle you will need to dulite 8 ounces of the product in 50 gallons of water and apply to cattle by spraying them with the mixed solution thouroughly covering the entire animal.  A second treatment can be made after 14-21 days from the first application.  Also refer to the product labeling before making any application.

    Is Martins Permethrin 10% safe for cats?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10% will not harm cats if they are kept out of the treated area during application and until everything is thoroughly dry.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Can Martins Permethrin 10% work to kill bugs on my potatoes in the garden?

    Martin's Permethrin 10% is not labeled to be applied to edible gardens. The Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew states that for potato bugs you can reapply every 7 days as needed or until the bugs are gone.

    Can Martins Permethrin 10? used on cattle? How much?
    A

    Yes! Martins Permethrin 10% would be mixed with water only and applied at the following rates and instructions on cattle:

    Dilute 8 ozs. in 50 gals. water 
    Dilute 1 pt in 100 gals. water 
    Dilute 1 qt. in 200 gals. water 
    Dilute 2 ozs. in 1 gal. water 
    Dilute 1 pt. in 8 gals. water 

    Spray to thoroughly cover entire animal. For lice or mites, a second treatment is recommended 14-21 days later. Spray lactating dairy cows only after milking is completed. SPOT TREATMENT - LOW-PRESSURE SPRAY Apply 1/2 oz. per ear or 2-4 oz. on the face or 12-16 oz. along the backline.

    The label for using Martins Permethrin 10% for mosquitoes outdoors reads 11 1/2 oz per quart of water. Is that correct?

    Per the Martins Permethrin 10%  product label: Use 1 1/2 fl. oz. in 1 quart of water, treating 400 linear feet with a 6-inch spray band.

    For Martins Permethrin 10%, how frequently can/should you use on dogs?
    For lawns, why wet the grass first?
    A

    Martins Permethrin 10%  should not be applied to cats. This product is extremely toxic to them. For dogs, Martins Permethrin 10% can be reapplied every 2-3 weeks. It is recommended that you wet the ground before applying the product to increase the effectiveness.

    How long do I wait before bathing my dog after using Martins Permethrin 10%?
    A

    You would need to reapply Martins Permethrin 10% after bathing your dog. Per the product Label , Martins Permethrin 10% can be applied every 3 weeks as needed.Discontinue use and wash your pet with mild soap and plenty of water if your pet shows any signs of sensitivity to this product.

    What is the rate for Martins Permethrin 10% for bagworms?

    Martins Permethrin 10% is not labeled for bagworms so would not be recommended.  There is the Permethrin SFR that is labeled for them as a better option.

    Can Permethrin 10? used on apple trees to control apple maggots? If so, how often should it be applied?

    Martins Permethrin 10% is not labeled to be used on fruit trees so would not be recommended.  Bonide Fruit Tree Spray Concentrate would be a better option.

    For dogs how much Permethrin 10% to use in a 32 ounce spray bottle?
    A

    Per the product label: Dilute 8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water.  This would breakdown to a vary small amount per gallon (0.005 oz/gal) and even smaller for a quart sprayer so would not be recommended. 

    Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals on medication.

    Can you mix Martins Permethrin 10% with oil for fogging?
    What type of oil can be mixed with permethrin?

    Can I use Martins Permethrin 10% on my body to kill scabies?

    Martins Permethrin 10% is not labeled to treat scabies. Scabies mites live only on/in the skin and we do not carry anything to treat humans. We suggest visiting your doctor to receive the medication needed to get rid of scabies.
