    How does the Mattress Safe Furniture Safe Encasement for a sofa work?

    The Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement - Sofa (X-Large) is a great investment for your furniture by preventing the costs of having to replace furniture due to bed bug infestations.  Once the encasement is installed over your sofa you may leave it on indefinetnlty or it may be removed after 18 months to ensure no more activity is present.  It is made from a soft and breathable fabric cover that is bite proof and impermeable to dust mites, bacteria, and mold. It is bed bug certified, which means board certified entomologists have tested this encasement and it is certified for protection against dust mites and bed bugs.

    Does it cover a high back reclining sofa?
    My sofa reclines on either end, however that is not my concern. The back is higher than your regular sofa this width. Would this cover it or do you have another model?

    Can I use the x large couch cover with Nuvan Strips?
    I'm afraid my sofa is infected. I've covered the bed and cleaned the bedroom. Only have had diamatious earth on the sofa day one today. I am itchy all over

    While you could potentially use the Nuvan Strips with the couch encasment there may not be enough room for the strip to move its vapor all the way through the couch to kill anything within it. We would suggest just treating the couch with diatomaceous earth or any other residual insecticide and then encasing the couch to trap anything inside it and keep anything else from getting in.

    my sofa reclines on either side

    Can I use a Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement in a non-climate controlled storage?
    I want to keep dirt, dust, bugs and especially mice getting to the sofa.

    The Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement - Sofa (X-Large) can be used in a non-climate controlled storage, the encasement can protect the sofa from dust and bugs but unfortunately it may not protect it from mice. The encasement is made of strong fabric material that has been certified as bed bug proof but can eventually be chewed through.

    How do I clean the Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement?
    A

    From the manufacturer: Mattress Safe products are as lightweight and easy to launder as your sheets. For quick clean-ups between washings, lightly vacuum or wipe the surface with a damp cloth. To launder, simply wash and dry in moderate temperature. Do not iron or use bleach or Borax, it will void your warranty. Our protectors dry quickly (approximately 15 minutes in most dryers).

    Can Nuvan ProStrips be used in a Sofa encasement?
    The sofa encasement is pretty big. Would I still be able to use the strips with it if there is some encasement hang? I could use one on top the seats and one u underneath sofa. Also, I've tried delta dust and cimexa dust on sofas different times and didnt work.

    We do not recommend using Nuvan ProStrips in a Sofa Mattress Safe FurnitureSafe Encasement.  Nuvan ProStrips should not be used in any living areas such as bedrooms or living rooms. A Nuvan ProStrip can be used in a sealed plastic container and left sealed in the container for at least 1-2 weeks.

    Would the XL couch FurnitureSafe Easement be large enough to cover a sectional sofa or would I need 2 smaller-sized ones?
