    What’s the difference between the MaxForce FC Ant and Roach bait stations?
    A

    Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations contain 0.01% of fipronil, while the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations contain 0.05% of fipronil. The Ant stations don't need as much of the active ingredient to kill the ants, while the roach stations need a little extra. While ants and roaches would be attracted to either one to target the specific insect, you need to get the one that is directly labeled for the insect.

    Can Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations be used outdoors where they would not be covered and would be exposed to rain? I would like to place them on a path near to runner beans.
    There is no covered place nearby and if protection from rain is needed I'm not clear how to rig this up without making it less likely that the ants would discover the stations.

    Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations would not hold up outside in the rain very well. We would recommend using Ant No More Bait Stations or the InTice Border Patrol System that would stake into to ground and be protected from weather. These stations allow you to use liquid ant bait, gel bait or granule bait.

    What is stronger, the Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations, gel, or granular for ants?
    A

    Which product is most successful will depend on the food source that the ants are seeking when you are baiting. Using a combination of products will help get the ant infestation under control much more quickly than using any one product alone. You should check the bait placements once a week and replenish as needed until ant activity has ceased. They are equally as effective if used as directed on the product label.     Have some Maxforce bug bait in a plastic tub in my store room. Not in any kind of "bait station"
    Don't know if it is for ants or roaches but suspect ants. How do I use bulk product without "stations"?

    Is it safe and effective to use a bait station next to a raised vegetable bed infested with odorous house ants
    I have an odorous house ant nest under a raised vegetable bed so do not want to spray the nest with chemicals and was wondering if bait next to the bed would work even though it is outdoors.

    Are Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations effective against Leaf Cutting Ants?
    I know that Fipronil is found to be effective against Leaf Cutting Ants, but I don't know what the bait is they're using in this product. How effective it is for these ants specifically? Is there another formula that meets this criteria & is more effective?

    Maxforce FC Ant Bait Stations have not been tested on leaf cutting ants so we do not have any information as to the efficacy. According to several university websites, Maxforce Complete Ant Granules containing hydramethlynon are some what effective, though they will usually eliminate only about 30% of a large colony in one treatment and will need to be reapplied several times. We recommend contacting your local county extension office to see what baits have been proven to be effective on leaf cutting ants in your area. We also carry DeltaGard G Granules and it one of the only products that are labeled for leaf cutting ants.
