    What is the mix rate of Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide ?
    A

    Mefenoxam 2AQ Fungicide is used at a rate of 0.49 - 0.98 oz in 1-5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft to treat diseases in turfgrass listed on the product label. If used as a drench, you would want to mix 0.25 oz (4 drops) with 1 gal of water.

    Is Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide safe for new grass?
    I have 3-4 weeks old TTTF using it for pythium blight.

    Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide is labeled for pythium blight and should not harm the turf if used as directed and the turf is well established. You should wait unti the new grass is rooted first with at least 2-3 mowings prior to application.

    How much Mefenoxam 2 AQ do I mix in 1 1/2 gallons of water?
    Can I use in on Zoysia grass?

    Mefenoxam 2AQ Fungicide is used at a rate of 0.49 - 0.98 oz in 1-5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft to treat diseases in turfgrass listed on the product label. It is safe to use on zoysia and other established turfgrasses when used as directed. To determine exactly how much concentrate to use, you may need to calibrate your sprayer to see how much area the 1 1/2 gallons of water will cover using your equipment at your pace.

    When can Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide be applied on new seed?
    Product label indicates, "SOIL SURFACE SPRAY:Apply 0.49
    A

    We have to advise to follow the product label instructions for Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide.  It is best applied right after seeding otherwise it could injure the newly growing grass.

    Is Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide recommended as a drench on palms for bud rot?
    Would 4 drops per gal still be the recommended amount to use? Canary palm has first signs of a bud rot or fungal infection that is starting to dry out my bud/spike. I read on some blogs about this as a drench. Any advise helpful. Thanks

    If the bud rot is caused by Phytophthora spp the product label for Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide states:  For individual plants you would use 4 drops per gallon.

    How toxic is it to breath in Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide when applying?
    A

    Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide is safe when used as directed.  To avoid breathing in Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide, the SDS states, "Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator if ventilation is inadequate."

    Water in?
    Do I need to water this product in or is it a foliar application? Using it for pythium blight in cool season turf

    When applying Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide as a foliar spray, as long as enough water is used for the application, there's no need to water it in.

    Can Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide be mixed with other fungicides for turf?
    Advice pls if I can mix it with other fungicides

    Per the product label, "Compatibility with tank mix partners must be determined. To determine the compatibility of Quali-Pro Mefenoxam 2 AQ with other products, pour the products into a small container of water in the correct proportions. After thorough mixing, let stand for 5 minutes. If the combination remains mixed or can be re-mixed readily, the mixture should be considered compatible."

    Is Mefenoxam 2 AQ a good option to rotate with Group 3 and 11 fungicides to treat for Grey Leaf Spot?
    My St. Augustine has developed a resistance to group 1, 3 and 11 fungicides

    Quali-Pro Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide is a Group 4 fungicide that is labeled to target pythium, phytopthora, yellow tuft and downy mildew. This fungicide is not labeled for grey leaf spot. 

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide which uses the active ingredient Chlorathonil (Group M5) is labeled for grey leaf spot on Golf Courses (Tees, Fairways, Greens), Commercial Turf-grass; Ornamental Turf-grass including Sod Farms; Fruit & Nut Tree. This is not for residential lawns.

    Can I mix Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide with other fungicides such as chlorothalonil, mancozeb, and iprodione?

    Per the manufacturers label:  For downy mildew, apply Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide at 0.49 – 0.98 fl oz per 100 gals of water in a tank mix (for resistance management) with a non-Group 4 fungicide labeled for downy mildew.  Please read and follow the label instructions.

    What is the difference between tMefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide and Subdue?
    A

    Mefenoxam 2 AQ Fungicide & Subdue Maxx Fungicide have the same active ingredient & percentage but are made by different manufacturers. It is not uncommon for different manufacturers to have their version of a product. The Subdue is also restricted in less states than the Menefoxam which is just a generic version of Subdue.
