    Q
What can I use to acidify the soil under maple trees, Miracle-Gro Miracid Plant Food?
My 4 "Acer -X Fremani Siennaglen" maple trees about 30-40 ft. tall have never had the promised Fall color. I have been told my soil probably needs to be more acid. What's the best way ?
    A

Miracle-Gro Miracid Plant Food is designed for acid-loving shrubs such as azaleas and hydrangeas. We recommend a pH test or full Soil Kit test if you have not done one in several years. If you do need to lower the pH, then you can use a sulfur product such as Hi-Yield Soil Sulfur for this application.
