    Is it best to use Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food on dry or wet plants?
    As it rains a lot

    Per the manufacturer, Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food can be applied at anytime. If plants are experiencing drought or really dry soil, then it is suggested to water the plant before applying the product. Light to moderate rain is perfectly fine before or after an application. If heavy rain or storms are predicted it is suggested to wait until the following morning once the rain has stopped to apply the product.

    The product label states, "For spectacular results, thirty days after planting in Miracle-Gro soil, begin feeding regularly with Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food to keep plants growing vigorously.  If planting in existing soil, feed at planting time to help plants become established."

    How long can Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food be stored if mixed in a gallon jug?

    Once Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food is diluted with water it must be used within 24 hours. Products are not intended to stay in suspended animation for longer than that, any longer may reduce the efficiency of a product.

    Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food is for use in all Flowers, Vegetables, Shrubs, Trees and Houseplants. You can use it as long as your perennials do not require a specific type of fertilizer.

    How much Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food do I use in a Miracle Gro Feeder?
    A

    Per the Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food product label, when used with the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder: For larger outdoor gardens, fill the feeder jar to the top of the label. This would be 1 1/2 lbs which will cover 600 sq ft of garden area.

    Can I use Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food in my grow boxes instead of the fertilizer the grow box sells?

    We would not advice to use Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food in the grow boxes since it needs to be diluted in water first. We do carry many organic fertilizer that can be worked into the soil like Espoma.

    Is there a spray on product that will revive my dying grass, lawn?

    This will depend on what is causing the grass to die and how damaged the grass already is. If you are unsure of what is injuring your grass, you may contact your Master Gardener at your local cooperative extension office, and they can help you to identify the issue whether it is a possible disease/fungus issue, a pest issue, etc.

    I kept my poinsettia over summer. I cut it down and started some new plants from stem cuttings. They are doing pretty good, but I thought maybe a little fertilizer would give them a boost. I would like to give some to friends for Christmas.

    Can Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food be used to feed Calla Lilies during blooming and/or what do I feed during dormancy?

    Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food can be applied anytime of year. If you are looking for a supplemental fertilizer in addition to Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food, you could consider Hi-Yield Dutch Bulb Food 7-8-5.

    Hi-Yield Dutch Bulb Food 7-8-5 is designed to provide essential nutrients to all flowering bulbs to help them grow big and beautiful blooms so they can produce bigger and more beautiful flowers, as well as help with recovery after blooming. This is best applied at planting time during spring and fall, then can be repeated as plants emerged.  Please refer to the product label for instructions, and use as directed.  

    For more specific information on caring for your calla lillies, you can contact the master gardener at your local county extension office for additional guidance.

    Can Miracle-Gro water-soluble be used for seed priming?
    To help the seeds' germination process, I was thinking of adding Miracle-Gro water-soluble plant food to the water that the seeds will be soaking in for several hours. Would this be a benefit over just using water to prime the seeds before sowing?
