Monterey B.t. Ready-to-Spray Insecticide should be applied in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. They are most active on turf early in the morning or late afternoon/early evening, but they may feed any time of the day.
Monterey B.T.Ready-to-Spray Insecticide comes Ready To Spray and so there would be no need apply with another sprayer or mix with water. The nozzle on the spray is calibrated to the right application ratio, just hook it up to your hose and you are ready to spray. If you purchased the concentrate and are mixing it yourself, you need to use what you mix within 24 hours, and store the unused portion in a temperature-stable environment.
Monterey B.t. Ready-to-Spray Insecticide will cover approx. 3000 sq feet.
Monterey B.t. Ready-to-Spray Insecticide is applied at a rate of 32 oz per 3000 sq ft. So if you are wanting to apply to all 25 trees you will need at least 8 bottles (possibly more or less) as one bottle should approximately cover 3-4 trees. We would recommend getting 1 or 2 bottles first and seeing how far it goes then moving forward from there.

For Armyworms in the lawn, we would recommend Talstar P Insecticide or Talstar Xtra Granules.

Keep pets out of the area while treating, and allow the application to fully dry before allowing pets to re-enter the treated area.
The Monterey B.t. Ready-to-Spray Insecticide will spray a distance of approximately 10 ft. For higher applications, we would recommend the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer as this isprayer is the longest distance sprayer we carry reaching distances of 25 ft to 30ft in height. This makes spraying high up in trees, under overhangs of the roof and around high up windows much easier. Please click HERE to watch a quick video on How to Use the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer.
For residual control of bagworms, we would recommend using Talstar P Insecticide as it is also labeled for over 75+ insects like mosquitoes, gnats, flies, ants, japanese beetles, etc. Talstar P is mixed at 1 fl oz per gallon of water for bagworm control.
Since the concentrate inside the Monterey BT Ready to Spray Insecticide is being pulled through a siphon tube through the sprayer with the water as it flows from your hose, it would empty the bottle little by little as you treat. You should be able to feel the bottle become empty when there is no more solution left to mix with the water coming from your hose.
