    Can I apply the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate around horse watering troughs? What if the mist gets into the trough?
    If we are spraying around our trees and it gets into the watering troughs, do we need to dump them out or will they be ok? I would also like to spray around our pond if it gets into the pond will the fish be ok?

    If any spray from the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate got into the troughs, they need to be dumped out.  Keep spray at least 25 feet from the pond.

    Can the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate be adapted to my leaf blower?

    Although, the Solo 451 is similar to leaf blowers the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate are not labeled to be applied with leaf blowers. We could not recommend it.

    What would be better the backpack Mister or towable sprayer for a 2 acre wooded area?
    I have used the Talstar P product and it works great the issue I am having is I am not sure if I should go with the backpack mister, or get a good high power towable sprayer. I want to treat a 2 acre wet wooded area around my house and hit the house as well to keep ants and spiders out. Does the mister use less product, provide better coverage, or is faster or is it just a function of which I have more use for? I could see the towable sprayer having the advantage of the large capacity but may not be able to get as fine of droplets.

    We recommend using the 451 Mist blower as a means to treat higher areas than pump sprayers will reach. Most hand help pump sprayer will only spray approx. 15 feet into the air. The mist Blower can get heavy, so it may be easier to use the towable sprayer for the coverage area.

    Will the chemicals in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate kill or harm grass or shrubs?

    The chemicals in the Mosquito Control Kit – Ultimate are safe for grass and shrubs as long as they’re used as directed. To avoid any possible damage though, we also recommend to avoid spraying in the heat of the day.

    Will the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate affect polinators, i.e. butterflies and bees?

    The Talstar P  that is in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate can harm beneficial insects like bees and butterflies that come into contact with treated areas. The best way to reduce the chance of the Talstar affecting the bees, butterflies and beneficial insects is to spray later in the day when they are not active and are back in their homes/nests and try to avoid blooms of flowers and plants they would be using for pollination.

    What are the recommendations for using the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate around an inground pool?
    I purchased a new house with an inground pool. I already had this kit from last season. Already seeing some mosquitoes here in East TN. Just wondering what the recommendations are for use around the pool.

    We advise when applying the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate that you avoid any overspry into the pool or do applications on windy or rainy days.     Can you mix all the products in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate and spray in one application?
    A

    Yes, the Talstar P, Archer IGR and ExciteR in the Mosquito Control Kit - Ultimate can be tank mixed together for one application. These 3 products are mixed at 1fl oz per gallon of water each. The Altosid Larvacide would be used in areas where you have standing water where mosquitoes breed.
