We have an infestation of very small black "sugar ants" in one room of our house. The area is small maybe 12' X 18' feet. WE can't see where they are coming from. I have already put down Niban granules around the outside perimeter of the room. I was planning on using the ANT CAFE with Gourmet ant Bait Gel AND/OR Maxforce Ant Bait Gel inside the room. WHAT DO YOU THINK? You suggest using Different Baits. AM I OK WITH THE 2 BAITS THAT I LISTED? Any other recommendations? You are the experts and I will follow your guidance. I am a repeat customer.
Yes, we do recommend using a protein bait and a sugar bait when treating for ants due to how frequently their dietary needs for one or the other switch. In addition to baitng, we suggest using a residual spray to apply around the baseboards, windows, doors, cracks and crevices for additional control where ants travel.
