The product label of MSM does not mention that MSM and Image have been tested for tank mixes. It does state: "Tank mixes with other registered herbicides and MSM Turf Herbicide should be tested for compatibility before full scale mixing. Use mechanical or bypass agitation to thoroughly mix the spray suspension. It is not necessary to premix this product with water in a separate container prior to adding it to the spray tank. This product should always be added to the tank first, before any other herbicides or adjuvants." Keep in mind that MSM has extremely low application rates and is very difficult to apply to small areas.
A great option to treat both nutsedge and spurge would be a sulfentrazone product such as Sulfentrazone 4SC. This product is safe on most turfgrasses and has very low use rates.
The chickens would need to be removed from the area during the treatment and until the application has completely dried. It should be safe for the chickens to return to this area as long as the manufacturer's product label instructions are followed.
MSM Turf Herbicide is not labeled to be used around anything edible or around desirable trees or shrubs. We would recommend using a non-selective product such as Avenger to carefully treat the weeds around your citrus trees.

Per the manufacturer, their recommended rate to use for spot applications is of 0.1 oz per 4 gallons of water, which can be easily measured with their measuring device provided.
If you are mixing multiple products together, then you are usually using the standard rates for each product, unless otherwise directed on the product labels. MSM Turf Herbicide may be difficult to mix with another water-dispersible granule such as Katana herbicide. You would need to make a small jar test for compatibility first, and I would also test a small area of turf for tolerance first. MSM can cause chlorosis of many turf-types, so you want to be very cautious about mixing that with other products.
Rhodes grass (chloris gayana ) is not on the MSM Turf Herbicide product label to be controlled.

Per the product label: Do not apply MSM Turf Herbicide to turf under stress from drought, insects, disease, cold temperatures, high temperatures of above 85F on cool season grasses, or poor fertility as injury may result.
