Nothing I read on the label suggests to use it as a fumigant and he told me it's ok to return to the property after 6 hours. Will I be safe going back in 6 hours?

The Temprid SC Insecticide product label states this product should only be applied as a spray, mist or foam and once the product has dried completely it is not harmful to adults, children or pets.
