Jesse from Encinitas, Ca writes

My landscape company wants to use Scythe to remove grass for a turf reduction rebate. Is this safe?

We are removing 50,000 sq ft. of grass and owners in our condominium are concerned that Scythe will be dangerous when applied. The area will be covered with organic recycled mulch and drought resistant plants.

Answer:

We apologize but cannot comment on the work of a third party, we can only say that Scythe Herbicide is safe when used as directed on the product label. As long as pets/children are out of the area while treating and until the product has had time to completely dry it is generally safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity. Typically after 4-6 hours with herbicides.
