Product Overview

The N95 Disposable Particulate Respirator filters 95% of particulates and is recommended when applying insecticide dusts (such as Delta Dust, Drione Dust or Pyganic Dust) or when applying liquid insecticide concentrates or water-based aerosols inside or outside the home.

For more demanding jobs, we recommend the professional Comfo Half-mask Respirator which filters 99.97% of particulates and is recommended when doing fogging, bombing, mold remediation, working in crawl spaces or applying any oil-based aerosols or fogging compounds.

The N95 Valved Respirator Mask filters out 95% of particulates in the air including dust and water-based aerosol sprays (Does NOT filter out oil-based aerosol sprays or fogging solutions).  Great when applying pesticide or insecticide dusts. Features a latex free headstrap, contour fit design, adjustable nose piece with comfortable nose foam, and a valve for better comfort when breathing.

    Ok but not great.

    By Russell on 02/23/2016

This is a must have for dust applications. No matter how careful you are, there will always be dust getting into the air and you should not inhale it. Updated Review. These worked ok but i found that they do not filter dusts out as well as needed. They do not fit the face very well.

    Great Mask

    By Vincent on 08/11/2016

I use these more for cutting grass than any thing. They do a great job and they are comfortable to wear! Best Pro that can be! I'm happy 😊 and lungs are happy!

    Good mask

    By Brent on 06/20/2017

This masked seemed to work pretty good when I was spraying a chemical outdoors and also when dusting with diatomaceous earth. They have a strip of thin metal at the bridge of the nose that can be pinched for a tighter seal.

    Safety 1st

    By Mike on 05/03/2019

There a several respirator masks available, not all having the same filtration capability. Check the product material safety data sheet for the proper mask. I use these for general indoor use when using the duster.

Q
Are you able to use these masks more than one time when using liquid insecticides?
A
Yes.  The N95 rated masks can be used more than once.  Typically, the masks are good for 10 to 15 uses.  If you are using an oil based spray they will not last as long.  Most of our products are not oil based and are not air born unless you are using an aerosol spray.

Q
Are these NIOSH approved respirators with dust/mist filter-->MSHA/NIOSH TC- 21C or R, P, or HE filter?

We will be ordering Mavrik perimeter to spray for mosquitoes this summer. The product label for Mavrik calls for "A NIOSH approved respirator with dust/mist filter with MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C or R, P, or HE filter". Do these fit that description? If not, can you recommend masks that do?

A
The N95 Valved Respirator Mask is NIOSH approved according to the CDC.

Q
Does the DuraMask N95 Valved Respirator filter asbestos?
A
No, any mask rated at N95 is not sufficient for asbestos.  You need a P100 rated mask which filters 100% of particulates.  This would be our comfo classic with P100 rated filters.

Q
Is this mask appropriate for using 2-4-D, Curtail, and/or Roundup? I use a liquid backpack sprayer.

If not, what is recommended? (2 acre and 4 acre area. Thank you

A
We recommend that you check each product's MSDS for recommendations on protective gear. With applications that are made in well ventilated areas, the N95 Valved Respirator Mask would be an appropriate choice (unless it states otherwise) then we suggest wearing the following mask, Comfo Classic Respirator. The N95 Valved Respirator Mask is NIOSH approved according to the CDC.
