If using a handpump or backpack sprayer to apply Negate 37WG Herbicide, it is necessary to mix the entire 1.5 oz bottle into 1 gallon of water to create the correct suspended concentrate of the two active ingredients. You will then take 3 ounces from that gallon of mixed solution and mix that into one gallon of water for spot treatments. The original gallon you mixed the entire bottle into will be good for about a month.

Quali-Pro Negate 37WG should not be applied to residential lawns and not as a spot application. It is applied at 1.5 fl oz per acre and spray volumes of 20 to 80 gal/acre and pressures of 25 to 35 psi.

No, Negate 37WG cannot be applied in or around desirable plants, bushes, trees, shrubs or ornamentals. Per the product label, applications should be avoided where desirable root zones may extend or in locations where the chemical may be washed or moved into contact with their roots. In areas where Negate 37WG has been applied, do not plant shrubs and trees in treated areas for at least 1 year after the last application or bedding plants for at least 2 years.
To treat buttonweed and other broadleaf weeds, hand pulling the weeds or directly spot treating with a non selective herbicide like Roundup Quick Pro is recommended.
For grassy weeds, Fusilade II is one of the top choices to kill actively growing grassy weeds in landscape beds, flowers, shrubs, bushes, and trees and will not injure listed tolerant plants/ornamentals.
Negate 37WG Herbicide is mixed differently than other herbicides.
To mix Negate 37WG, you will dilute the entire 1.5 oz bottle in ONE gallon of water first (not in your sprayer but in a separate container) since there are different sized prills in the concentrate. You would then use 3 oz of your mixed solution in at least 1 gallon of water per 1000 square feet. The remaining initial solution can be stored for 2-4 weeks, just be sure you agitate the solution before mixing and re-applying. You can reapply on your dormant turf after 4 weeks if the target weeds are still present.
Negate 37WG Herbicide is not labeled for cool season turf therefore would damage your Kentucky Bluegrass.
Since poa annua and cool-season grasses are so closely related, there are few products that will kill the poa annua without also harming the lawn. The only one we are currently aware of is called Prograss which can kill & prevent poa and can be applied at seeding, however, it can only be applied to residential lawns by licensed applicators. You may want to see if a service local to you can provide this chemical treatment to your lawn.
Your only other option would be to spot-treat with a Roundup-type product and then reseed with the desirable grass type in those areas. Using a pre emergent such as Dimension 2EW or Pendulum 2G in the fall and spring when you are not overseeding to help prevent the poa from emerging. Typically a split treatment in the fall will yield to longer and better prevention of the weeds.

Negate 37WG is not labeled to control Dalliisgrass.
For dallisgrass you have a few options really. You use something like Certainty. For this product you would also need to use a surfactant.
Image Kills Nutsedge is another option if treating a smaller lawn. We would recommend applying a pre emergent like Dimension 2EW before the weeds emerge for prevention. It would also be recommeneded to use a pre-emergent before it emerges for prevention.You should not water after an application of Negate37WG.
