Newly seed Dwarf Fescue Bonzai, will Monterey Turflon Ester Herbicide harm it?

We just installed medallion dwArf fescue bonzai. It is all fescue. Do you thin no your product can be used each spring to control the bermuda that will inevitable creep back up? It is strong tall blades even though they named it dwarf.

Answer:

As long as the grass is established tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, or perennial bluegrass, then it should be tolerant of Turflon Ester Herbicide when used as directed on the product label. However, if you have a newer cultivar, then we recommend testing a small area for tolerance before applying the herbicide to a larger area. Also, keep in mind that fescues will be most stressed in high heat, so we do not recommend using Turflon Ester in the summer on fescue.
