NyGuard IGR would be applied to the cracks and crevices around the rooms with hard floor surfaces. In most cases, the fleas will develop in upholstered furniture, pet beds, rugs and carpeted areas as hard surfaces are not very habitable for them. Spray directly into cracks and crevices on the floor as well. Vacuuming the crevices immediately before spraying will help to remove some of the flea eggs and stimulate the developing pupa to become exposed. With heavy infestations, you may need to retreat after 14 days to get rid of the stragglers.
NyGuard IGR should be diluted with water and applied with a hand pump sprayer. For both fleas and cockroaches, it is recommend to use an adulticide (insecticide) along with the NyGuard: NyGuard will not kill existing adult insects; it will only affect immature stages. An insecticide like Onslaught Insecticide would be great to use with NyGuard for roaches and fleas. You would use 0.5 to 1.0 fl. oz. of Onslaught with 8 mL of NyGuard IGR per gallon of water and apply as a broadcast spray in areas with fleas, such as carpets. For roaches, treats cracks and crevices where these insects hide or are likely to travel. Please see our Treatment Guides for these pests for more tips and information:

It can be used every 21 days indoors for roaches as needed. The mixing ratio is between 8-16 ml per gallon of water. Also, it is recommended that you use a bait gel, such as Maxforce Magnum, inside of your cabinets and drawers. Be sure not to spray any insecticide on the bait gel, because it will contaminate it and roaches will not consume it.
Please check out our Roach Guide with tips on how to treat and prevent roaches.

For an indoor application the Nyguard IGR has a much longer residual time which is five months, so you would need to either wait that time period or use the nematodes without the Nyguard indoors.
