Yes, NyGuard IGR can be mixed with either Suspend Polyzone or Bifen XTS for mosquito control.
NyGuard IGR and Alpine WSG are not considered flushing agents. Alpine WSG (water-soluble granule) is a non-pyrethroid, non-repellent broad-spectrum insecticide that uses the active ingredient Dinotefuran. NyGuard IGR is an Insect Growth Regulator which is like a kind of birth control for insects. It will stop the roaches from being able to reproduce and mature further into their lifecycles. The combination of an insecticide and an IGR is recommended when dealing with pests like roaches. Nyguard IGR can be added to Alpine WSG with no negative side effects. For more information on treating roaches, please review our article on How to Get Rid of Roaches for more helpful tips.
You can always add an IGR labeled for mosquitoes such as NyGuard IGR to your insecticide. Mosquitoes generally do not bite when temperatures are less than 50 degrees F, and they do need a water source to breed. It is always best to treat preventatively than to wait until populations are high. Please see our Mosquito Prevention Guide for more information about how to keep populations down.
NyGuard IGR would be applied to the cracks and crevices around the rooms with hard floor surfaces. In most cases, the fleas will develop in upholstered furniture, pet beds, rugs and carpeted areas as hard surfaces are not very habitable for them. Spray directly into cracks and crevices on the floor as well. Vacuuming the crevices immediately before spraying will help to remove some of the flea eggs and stimulate the developing pupa to become exposed. With heavy infestations, you may need to retreat after 14 days to get rid of the stragglers.
A great option for Gentrol roach control would be Temprid SC mixed with Nyguard IGR. Temprid SC has two active ingredients in it that work together to combat insects. It can be used every 21 days indoors for roaches as needed. The mixing ratio is between 8-16 ml per gallon of water. Also, it is recommended that you use a bait gel, such as Maxforce Magnum, inside of your cabinets and drawers. Be sure not to spray any insecticide on the bait gel, because it will contaminate it and roaches will not consume it.
Please check out our Roach Guide with tips on how to treat and prevent roaches.
