    Q
Will Onslaught need to be applied more often in a consistently rainy area?
We are in the Pacific Northwest and get rain almost daily. Is there a better option for rainy areas? Using it outdoors only, around home perimeter and flower/grass areas, and trying to kill mosquitoes, spiders, gnats, flies, wasps, etc.
    A

Onslaught can last up to 60 to 90 days on outside surfaces but it can be applied as often as every 7 days if needed.  Generally most people apply once a month and it is still effective in rainy areas.

  • Asked by Eddy from La Grange, Nc
    03/12/2018
    Q
Can I use Onslaught Insecticide to spray indoors on carpet?
    A

Treating carpets for general pests is not needed.  Only when you are dealing with a pest like fleas that infest carpets would you need to do so.  For general pest control, treatments should be directed to cracks and crevices inside as you should also apply a barrier outside around the perimeter.  We have a great video here that shows where to spray for perimeter and interior spraying.  Onslaught is a great option for them and is labeled for over 200 pests.

    Q
Can Onslaught be used through an Actisol machine?
    A
According to the Actisol manufacturer, you can use Onslaught in the machine. They recommend that you dilute the Onslaught in a seperate container and then add it to the Actisol. Because Onslaught is water based, they recommend that you thoroughly clean the machine and dry it after use.  For further information on the types of insecticides that you can use with the Actisol, you should contact the manufacturer at 877-228-476.

  • Asked by Thomas

    Q
Is Onslaught Insecticide good for clothes moths in carpet?
    A
Yes. Onslaught is labeled for clothes moths and works very well for this pest. It is very important to find the source(s) of the clothes moths and thoroughly clean the item or dispose of it entirely. Failure to do so will lead to re-infestation as the larva will usually remain hidden and continue to develop into adults.

  • Asked by Erik

    Q
Can I kill two pests -- flies and wasps -- with one Onslaught?
I'd like to put out protein baits instead of sugar baits, to spare the bees, but the one I've tried (chicken; salmon cat food is next) has not attracted them. It has attracted flies, though, and the question is whether I can solve both my problems. I see that Onslaught is labeled for various flies), and this seems like an obvious twofer, but I'm wondering if I've missed something.
    A
Onslaught will kill anything that lands on it, so it would kill flies and any other insect, crawling or flying, that lands on it.  However, you mentioned wasps, and the baiting method that you have mentioned is only known to work for yellow jackets.  So if you do not have yellow jackets, but you have wasps, then the baiting method will probably not work.

How do I apply Onslaught insecticide and how much should I use?
    A
The application rate will vary depending on what you are treating for and where the product will be applied. In general you will dilute 0.5 fl-1.0 fl oz in one gallon of water and apply the dilution using a hand pump sprayer. Please read the Onslaught product label for complete usage instructions.

  • Asked by Steven from Atlanta, Ga

    Q
What is better to kill carpet beetles? Demand CS or Onslaught?
What is better to kill carpet beetles? Demand CS or Onslaught? We also want to mix in Nygaurd or Gentrol. What is the better combo of the four products to control these things. Is there a fogger we can use in our attic and outdoor shed to help eliminate these?
    A
Onslaught would be better to treat carpet beetles. Onslaught can be applied in a broadcast application over carpeting. As well as, cracks, crevices, baseboards, and areas the beetles may hide. You want to mix the solution at 1oz Onslaught to 1 gallon water. The Nyguard would be the best IGR to use as it has the longest residual. You can use either the Onslaught in the attic and shed for residual, or if you prefer a fogger you could use our Pro Control Plus-Total Release Fogger.

    Q
Is Onslaught good for outdoor moths? And is it safe for my family once dried
We have an abundance of moths around our front porch and yard. I can't find their nests, there are too many. We need a solution that is effective and not going to be too messy around the front door and porch.
    A
Onslaught has the broadest label for any insecticide and will pretty much kill whatever lands on a treated surface.  Once dried Onslaught is safe to be around for pets and children as long as it is applied following the product label.

  • Asked by Ruthella from Carrollton Ga
    03/20/2014
    Q
I ordered Onslaught from you before and I am using it outside my home and my rental house to keep bugs at bay.
Is the Onslaught the BEST product I can be using to do this job OR is there something BETTER I can use? I want to use the BEST product to KEEP BUGS OUT OF THE HOMES I own. If you think there is a better product you can sell me for this, can you please let me know what to buy? Thanks so much.
    A
Onslaught would be a great choice because it is labeled for over 200 insects and has a 30 day residual outdoors. It also can be applied to indoor crack and crevices once every 90 days. You should treat around all the cracks and crevices (inside and out), window and door frames, a few feet up the siding of the homes and the lawns. Without knowing exactly what insects you are treating for it is hard to give you the best treatment advice but this is a professional strength product that will cover numerous flying, crawling, biting and stinging insects. Just make sure you are mixing and spraying as directed on the product label.

    Q
Does Onslaught treat Red Mites from chickens?
Brought into house on clothing from chicken coop
    A
Yes the Onslaught is labeled to control all different types of mites. Spray down all the cracks and crevices of the home very well, baseboards, window and door frames, etc. You may also want to use Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust in areas you are not wanting to spray as this is a great product for chicken mites as well. Make sure to vacuum well and wash and dry any clothes or linens in hot water and high heat.

    Q
We have a chair shop where we keep our dog 100'x30' and its infested with fleas what do we do to kill these.
It is very very bad what would be the best treatment to trea
    A
Our Indoor/Outdoor  Flea kit would work great!  The kit includes 1 pint of Onslaught insecticide and 1 x 4 oz. bottle of Martins IGR to stop flea growth and reproduction.  We've included these products because they are easy to use, effective, and safe to use in your yard and inside the home. Both products are concentrated and need to be mixed with water before use.  You can apply the mixed solution with a pressurized hand-held sprayer or a hose-end sprayer.  This kit provides enough product to cover a typical yard (1/4 to 1/2 acre).

    Q
Can I use Onslaught Insecticide in a fogger? and if not what can i use in a fogger for Fleas?
    A
Onslaught cannot be used in a fogger, it may clog it. To treat for fleas we recommend the Outdoor Indoor Flea kit. This way you cover all stages of the flea life cycle. Fogging will only kill the fleas that are out at the time of fogging.
