    Q
I'm looking for something I can spray on the lawn for fleas ticks and other pests. I'd also like to use it around the house as a barrier.
    A

We would recommend using our Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit.  The kit contains professional products to help prevent and treat infestations of fleas and ticks outdoors. Cyzmic CS is a versatile insecticide concentrate with two active ingredients, providing both a quick initial kill and long-term residual control of adult fleas and ticks. Archer Insect Growth Regulator prohibits the development of immature stages of fleas and ticks, effectively interrupting the breeding cycle of target insects. These concentrates can be diluted and applied together to save time and energy, and they are both labeled to treat for other insects as well.

    Q
Will the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit kill fleas and prevent other unwanted bugs and not kill all my Geckos and Lizards?
We have Geckos and Lizards all over our property and I am looking for something that will kill and prevent fleas. I also need it to kill grubs. If I have to buy several products that will be fine

As long as the geckos and lizards are out of the area while you are doing the actual application of the Cyzmic CS, it shouldn’t affect them. You will most likely see a reduction in the gecko and lizard populations on your property, though, as you will be eliminating their food source (insects).

    Q
I think my back yard may be infested with ticks, what do you recommend we use?
I have been bitten three times past three years. What can I use? How can I apply? Where in yard? And when should I apply? Thank you
    A

We would recommend using the products in our Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit for outdoor tick control. Both the residual insecticide and IGR in the kit are concentrates that need to be diluted with water and applied with a pump sprayer, such as a hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. Please be sure to review the product labels for complete application instructions.

For tick treatments, treat the entire outdoor lawn and ornamentals where ticks have been found. For ornamental plants, try to treat the entire plants, including the undersides of the leaves. You may want to use a higher volume of water to get more thorough coverage. Treat around rock or brick retaining walls, along pathways, on and around piles of yard debris or other dense foliage, and anywhere pets or wild animals may spend time. Please be sure to keep people and pets out of the area while you make the application and until the treated area is completely dry. Once dry, then it is safe to resume normal activity. Also, please take a moment to review our How to Get Rid of Ticks Guide for more information and helpful tips on eradicating this pest.

    Q
Can the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit be used in a dirt floor crawl space?
I have purchased this outdoor flea kit to treat my lawn for fleas. However, at times we get ants in our house. I have used this as a perimeter spray around the outside of the house. Could this also be used to spray along the base of the inside walls in our dirt floor crawl space to help with the ants? If not, what product do you recommend for use in the crawl space for ants?
    A

Yes, you are able to use both of these products to target ants in crawl space along the inside walls, please take a few moments to read our guide on how to get rid of ants.

    Q
Can the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit be used around a koi/goldfish ponds?
    A

Due to the sensitivity of koi/goldfish, take precautions when applying the products in the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit as the residual insecticide Temprid FX is highly toxic to fish.

We recommend staying atleast 15-20ft away from the ponds while spraying and if needed, cover or use a barrier to help avoid wind drift from contaminating the water.

    Q
Can the products in the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit be used indoors?
Can these products be applied to carpets and upholstered furniture? Will these products stain carpets, furniture and upholstery? How long do animals need to be kept out of the home after treating?
    A

The products in the Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit can only be applied as a crack and crevice spray indoors (baseboards, under cabinets, sinks, around windows/doors) and could not applied as a broadcast spray over carpeted areas, upholstered furniture, pet bedding, etc.

The Indoor Flea Kit contains the best products for active fleas indoors and intended for broadcast spray applications on carpets, pet bedding, rugs, & upholstered furniture. Repeat applications should be done every 14 days and you can expect to do 3 to 4 retreatments.

Keep people and pets out of the home while treating and until the application has completely dried, typically 2-4 hrs. For staining concerns, it is recommended to test a small inconspicuous area for signs of color fastness or discoloration.

Take a moment to view our video on How to Apply the Indoor Flea Kit and our Flea Treatment Guide for more information.

    Q
    Free-Range Laying Chicken Safe?
I have a 3 free-range laying chickens who have full run of the yard. Can I use this product safely with laying chickens for both the health of my chickens & will it be safe to eat their eggs? If no, can you recommend a product that is safe to use around free-range chickens? I'm trying to get control of dog fleas that have taken over the entire yard due to an opposum infestation. We have no dogs, cats, or other domestic animal that occupy this acre except 3 laying chickens.
    A

The Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit will not harm chickens if used as directed. We would recommend removing the chickens out of the area while you are doing the treatment. Once the product has dried completely, it is safe for them to go back into the area after about 4-6 hours.
