    Q
On Tifton 44 Bermudagrass, how many oz per acre I use 15 gal per acre for Pastora Herbicide?
    A

Application rates of Pastora Herbicide vary from 1 - 2.5 oz. per 100 gallons of water per acre depending on the type of weed you are trying to prevent.  When using a pre-emergent the amount of water could be more or less as water is just the carrier and it is more important to be sure you are applying the correct amount of product per area.

Pastora Herbicide can be used in Tall Fescue pastures. Check with your state extension or Department of Agriculture before use, to be certain Pastora is registered in your state.

    Q
Is Pastora the the correct choice for renovating my pasture?
I have a lot of fescue mixed with lots of weeds, including fox tail as well as brings poison oak/ivy, and sumac I need to basically kill everything and start over as I only want Bermuda on my small 4 acre pasture. Should I add triclopyr for the stemmy/woody invaders? How long before I can replant? I want to replant with the Bermuda in late April or early May. Please advise. I am in N.E. GA.
    A

Since Pastora Herbicide is a pre- and post-emergent, it would be best to wait at least 1 year to plant in the area, though the label states it can remain in the soil for up to 34 months. A non-selective product containing glyphosate can be applied to growing weeds/grasses a couple of weeks prior to planting in the area.
