online ordering of Pennington Signature grass seed
By Pete on 09/11/2020
The ordering process was straight forward but the seed was a little slow on delivery. The seed was this years seed as I would expect but DoMyOwn's communications were excellent, I was updated constantly as to the status of my order and therefore had no concerns that I would receive my order. I will use DoMyOwn's again when the opportunity presents itself.

Worth the Money
By Roland on 08/24/2023
I seeded my Atlanta Metro area lawn Fall of 2022 (4K Sq Ft) and used entire 50# Bag, split in two applications about a month apart. I also aerated prior to Seeding. What impressed me the most is that it's now a year later, and after one of the hottest Summers, and the entire lawn is still green and lush. Visitors to my home always compliment on how the lawn looks. I mowed consistently to 3in. During the Summer months, I did apply Fungicide regularly and I believe that help to help stay green. The lawn is doing so well that I technically will only be doing spot Seeding in a couple of areas that are bare. Also in Summer, I only had to mow 2 or 3 times. Compared to when I had a Lawn service doing this for me, the fescue never survived a Summer. That said, I plan to convert other parts of my lawn to fescue using this brand. I strongly recommend.

Tall blended fescue

slow to germinate
By Linda on 09/16/2024
I acknowledge I overseeded a little early in the season for my area, so I did test patches of this seed in my yard and also Greenview seed (both tall turf type fescue) to see if I could get it going. The patches were side by side and the Greenview was visible within 3 days and the Pennington Signature took about 10 days. I honestly thought it was not going to germinate. But it finally was visible. It is lagging behind the Greenview seed a bit, but it is growing.
