Pennington Ultragreen Crabgrass Preventer Plus Fertilizer 30-0-4 is a high-quality blend that feeds your lawn while preventing crabgrass from sprouting for up to 5 months with the pre-emergent Prodiamine. It features both a quick-acting nitrogen to promote quick greening, along with a slower-release nitrogen to provide extended feeding, and 5% iron for a deep, dark green lawn. In addition to crabgrass, it is also formulated to prevent and control many other grassy and broadleaf weeds including annual bluegrass, annual foxtails, and common chickweed. Best applied in early spring.
