    Can I spray Permethrin SFR 36.8% on my sofa and mattresses for flea control?
    A

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% cannot be appled to furniture items. For flea control on furniture, we recommend Alpine Flea and Bed Bug Spray.

    How often should I treat with Permethrin SFR 36.85% for fleas and german roaches?
    My yard and house have fleas and german roaches. After the first treatment how long until I should treat again?
    A

    Permethring SFR 36.8% gives you up to a 30 day residual outdoors, and up to a 90 day residual indoors. We would also recommend using an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) as well for both these pest applications, such as Nyguard IGR Concentrate. This will help stop the reproductive cycle in both the roaches and fleas.

    You would dilute 4 fl oz of Permethrin SFR in 2.5 gallons of water to spray on cattle.

    What is the recommended usage rate for Permethrin SFR 36.8% for stored grain pests?
    A

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not specifically labeled for stored grain pests. We would recommend a product like Fenvastar EcoCap instead.  You will need to use 1 oz of Fenvastar EcoCap per gallon of water.  Please be advised that we are only able to ship within the U.S. at this time.

    Will Permetherin SFR 36.8% kill chiggers?
    If not is there a recommendation of what will?

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not labeled for chiggers and will not provide adequate results for you. Onslaught Insecticide is labeled for chiggers and can be used both indoors and outdoors as a broadcast spray. Keep in mind chiggers are not known to infest structures. Chiggers are most likely outdoors in your yard. Many people are lead to believe that the infestation is indoors because they do not feel the effects of the chigger bites right away and then are lead to believe they are being bitten at a later time.

    Will Permethrin SFR 36.8% be effective against lacebugs, Azalea scale or Prunicola scale?
    A

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% can be applied to ornamental plants and trees to treat lacebug at a rate of 0.9-1.8 oz per 10,000 sq ft or 4-8 oz per 100 gallons of water. Permethrin SFR is not labeled for scale eradication. We do carry other products that would be great for treating the Prunicola scale and Azalea scale. Please provide details on the treatment area for a product recommendation.

    For TIcks you will dilute 1 2/3oz Permethrin SFR 36.8% with 8ml Nyguard per gallon water.

    Do I need to use anything but water to clean out my skid sprayer when using Permethrin SFR?

    You can use water and triple rinse sprayers, wands and nozzles after the use of Permethrin SFR.

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% is not odorless it has a faint mild petroleum. It is labeled for use indoors to cracks and crevices.

    Is Permethrin SFR 36.8% safe to use inside?
    I maintain a total of 49 mobile homes and we battle german roaches. My boss says it shouldnt be sprayed in doors because it can kill people.

    What is the best pest control for New Mexico, Edgewood area in the mountains?
    I'm moving to an area that I don't know anything about, it's mountains and rural. Lots of native animals, including deer so I'm worried about my dog and cats getting ticks as well as us for that matter. What is the best spray for my yard that I can do once a month or every coupon months? There are also a lot of trees so tree termites or beetles could be a problem.

    Permethrin SFR 36.8% would be good to use for ticks and other insects in the yard as well as on healthy trees to help protect from beetle infestations.  We have a great video that shows where to spray for perimeter and interior spraying.     What is the Permethrin SFR concentration for silverfish indoors?
    A

    You will need to use 1 2/3 fl. oz of Permethrin SFR for each gallon of water for indoor or outdoor spraying (0.5% emulsion). Be sure to follow all label instructions for where it can be sprayed indoors.

    Can I use an IGR with Permethrin SFR for longer fly control around cow farms?
    I have used mostly Bifen I/T in the past around calf huts and other cattle areas. My residual control has only lasted about one week and am looking for another product to "change it up".

    Yes, you can use Permethrin SFR with an IGR such as Nyguard IGR to control many types of flies in a barn.

    I already mix Talstar & Nyguard, can I add Permethrin SFR for added tick control?
    A
    We would not recommend adding the Permethrin SFR to your mixture as it is a synthetic pyrethroid just like Talstar. If you are looking to have a little faster knock down you can add the product Kicker which will give you the quick control while the Talstar provides the longer residual. Keep in mind tick control takes time and several re treatments before the population will start to decline. The NyGuard IGR will give about a 4-5 month residual over the reproductive cycle but you can spray the Talstar every 14 days as needed to help knock back the population as well.

    Can Permethrin SFR be used in ULV fogger for air ducts?
    What is the safe time for humans and pets to re-enter the home if Permethrin SFR is fogged airborne in the interior of a home

    Permethrin SFR is NOT labeled to be fogged inside of homes. It is only labeled to be fogged indoors of agricultural facilities. If you have already fogged indoors please contact Control Solutions at 281-892-2500.

    Can I mix Riptide 5% and Permethirin
    My mosquitoes laughed at Riptide last year.

    Technically you can use them together, as long as you are using in a standard pump sprayer and not in a ULV fogger.  Riptide will provide a fast knockdown to insects that are in the area while applying and Permethrin will provide a residual that continues to kill the insects that land on a treated surface.
