    Q
When is the best time to use the Precor Plus Fogger with IGR to control fleas?
We had a serious flea infestation in our basement last summer. We hired an exterminator and followed up with Precor bombs and spray. We have worked to declutter and clean our basement over the winter, while any existing fleas were dormant. We expect that we still have fleas and would like to proactively bomb and spray, but we would like to know the best time to do so. Thanks for your help.
    A

The Precor Plus Fogger with IGR - (3 x 3 oz cans) should be used to kill adult fleas when they are present. Repeat treatments are necessary with fleas due to their life cyle. The IGR in Precor Plus Fogger with IGR will stop the immature fleas from maturing into adults therefore breaking the reproduction cycle. One fogger will treat a 375 sq ft area.

For hard to reach areas such as under beds, furniture, or obstructed areas where fogger mist may not penetrate, we recommend using Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray. This can be used in conjunction with the foggers also.

    Q
Does Precor bombs kill mites as well as fleas?
We live in the country. We have sprayed with Permetherin (shed and yard) twice, I am not sure that we have just fleas, our shed and home do not see any fleas (but have recently had fleas in our home), and the animals are treated regularly. But something is biting me when I go into our shed? Will the Precor bombs kill mites as well as fleas??
    A
Precor Plus Foggers are labeled for fleas specifically, not mites or any other biting insect. You may need to get the pest identified if you are still getting bitten.
