A hose end spray is not recommended for applying Princep Liquid Herbicide or any other herbicide as these sprayers make it difficult to measure the volume of water that it puts out. When applying fungicides and herbicides, it is important that a sufficient volume of water is being used to adequately cover each 1000 sq ft as water is only acting as a carrier to distribute the active ingreident. Using too much of the active ingredient in not enough water, you risk damaging your lawn, use too little and you will not get adequate results.
