Brigand SB Soft Bait Rodenticide that is made of the best ingredients to kill rodents for good. Sometimes, when a rodenticide is used, the rodents do not go for the bait because they have more palatable food sources. That is when Brigand SB rodenticide used. Made of food grade flour, grains, synthetic peanut flavoring and lard, this bait is highly attractive to rodents, making sure that they eat the bait instead of other food stuffs. Since Brigand SB uses peanut flavoring instead of nuts, it is easier to clean up and avoids any possible allergen issues.

Brigand SB is the only Soft Bait formulation on the market made with soft lard. In particular, lard adds to the intrinsic moisture content of the bait as well as to the palatability of the product and its ability to compete with the rodents current food sources. Combining only food grade ingredients with this lard allows Brigand to achieve extremely high palatability rates against competing baits and food sources. Brigand is made with bromadiolone as the active ingredient, which is very safe to non-target domestic animals making it an ideal baiting solution for residential applications.
Pasta bait is extremely palatable and effective against all pest rodents. Its high energy content makes it the preferred formulation to use in many situations, and is particularly useful where rodents have declined to accept other baits. Taste adjuvants and flavors help to improve bait ‘take’, and stabilizing agents prevent oxidation.PelGar’s pasta bait is a ready-for-use bait formulated using a blend of high quality culinary grade wheat flour, chopped grain, soft lard/vegetable oil and synthetic peanut flavoring to produce a high calorie, high energy feed. The use of synthetic peanut flavorings allows the product to be used in sensitive situations where products containing nuts would not be authorized for use.
Please always read and follow directions on label before use.

My apartment recently had pest control stop by and they informed me that this is what they used. I looked around and couldn't find where they placed it so it must be hidden but my baby crawls and explores everywhere. I'm afraid she'll find a "hidden" one and consume it. I'd like to know if this is a safe method around children.

How much would an extra large dog need to eat for it to be harmful?
The product label for Brigand SB Soft Bait Rodenticide states that this product should be placed in secured bait stations that are out of reach of children, pets or non-target animals. However, the amount of active ingredient that a mouse ingests is fairly minor, and your cat would have to eat a larger amount to be negatively impacted. Keep in mind that well-fed pets generally will not also eat wildlife they find outdoors.
If there are any signs that your pets have been affected by a poison, we strongly recommend that you contact your vet immediately. Although this product has been discontinued by the manufacturer, you may still wish to contact the manufacturer PelGar directly for specific product questions not addressed on the label at 610-849-1723, or via their website's contact page here.
