    Turf the little things!

    By Tony on 09/17/2018

I could tell a difference the next day easily. My Tall fescue looked healthy. I bought Turf Grass Pro Micros because I wanted to help my grass fight off fungus. I took soil samples from my yard and noticed it lacking the micro nutrients that TurfGrassPro Micros will add. I sprayed the front yard only and noticed the back yard still developed fungus. This does not get rid of fungus it helps your grass fight it off! I will still use fungicides. I used 3 ounces in 4 gallons of water in a battery powered Chapin sprayer. I will try to spray my front and backyard every week when weather permits. and retest my soil in the spring.

    I would buy again

    By Nick on 10/12/2018

My tall fescue obviously loved this. I applied this out of a hose end sprayer with fulvic and humic acid at a rate of about 8oz. per 1,000. The richness of color and shine just might make a neighbor or two jealous.

    By Timothy on 03/14/2020

    Verified Purchase

I used this last year and could really tell a difference. My soil test from early on in the year said I was lacking micros. Just sent off my soil test from this year and looking forward to seeing how much things have changed. Great product!

It changed the grass almost overnight. My yard has never looked this good. Fired my lawn service after catching them not doing the yard and billing me.

Q
How should I apply TurfGrass Pro Micros to my lawn? Label says every 7-14 days, but for how long?

I have Saint Augustine grass. Analysis from University of Florida says my soil has high Ph(8.1) and lacks micronutrients. I don't mind giving my grass a good kick but a lifetime of application of micronutrients goes a bit far.

A

Normally an application of a liquid fertilizer with Micros like TurfGrass Pro Micros would be used throughout the growing season as needed for the lawn. If your pH is too high you may want to consider doing a heavy sulfur application to lower it to the desired level for your lawn first so that the lawn can more easily and readily accept the nutrients you are putting down with the fertilizer. You can do it every 7-14 days while the lawn is needing a boost, and then periodically every few weeks or months as you see fit based on the appearance and growth of your lawn.

Q
Can I run TurfGrassPro Micros t in a LT Rich Z Sprayer?
A

We do not see any reason why the TurfGrassPro Micros couldnt be used in a Z Sprayer unit. From our quick research on the Z Sprayers it appears they are designed for most professional lawn chemicals and use and would work for your needs.

Q
Do I water in or allow TurfGrassPro Micros to dry on grass?

Do I water in the product or is it absorbed through the grass leaves.

A

TurfGrassPro Micros does not require watering in after application and you want to avoid watering or rain for at least 24 hours after application.  Just be sure to use sufficient water to cover the area during application.  If you need assistance with calibrating your sprayer we have a video here that can help.
