Product Overview

Prothioconazole 4L Select is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide that prevents and cures diseases on golf course turfgrass. It targets both cool- and warm-season turf diseases such as fairy ring, dollar spot, brown patch, snow mold, and anthracnose. Its mode of action is to disrupt sterol biosynthesis in the fungal cell, which is vital for cell growth. This product can be applied alone or tank-mixed. It has a low use rate for affordable applications. Excellent for golf course turfgrasses, greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.  Prothioconazole 4L Select is not for use on residential lawns.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • For maximum control, apply it regularly-scheduled applications and in rotation with other fungicides.
  • Has broad-spectrum systematic control.

CAUTION

Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Avoid breathing spray mist. Causes moderate eye irritation. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks and shoes. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

USE PRECAUTIONS

  • After application, allow foliage to dry prior to mowing.
  • Use of skirted spray booms will further reduce spray drift.
