    Review of Profoam

    By J. on 05/04/2010

I have used this product with Bora Care to inject the material into the voids of a concrete block foundation. I have active termites and had a bait system installed. ProFoam concentrate worked fine. I would add however don't forget to shake the mixture in the applicator before pumping up the applicator. Would recommend this product.

    Fast friendly service & Honesty

    By Woody on 12/23/2011

It sure makes a difference when you purchase supplies from folks who are truly interested in your success, using the right products for your task. I was asked do you really need that much product for one house. Please hold off on your order until Michael returns he has over 20 years of experience. I held off & discussed my situation with Michael, and changed my order. They sold less but made me spend less. I now trust their information & appreciate their honesty.

    Good stuff

    By Tom on 05/14/2013

I Bought the gallon size of this product. It works just as it described. I was using it with the Poly foamer 2 gallon pump sprayer. One suggestion here... Don't skimp on the solution if you want to make any headway with applying your chemical. Mix 9oz per gallon so you don't pump and shake yourself to death. It works great, but ya gotta shake, shake shake.

    By Eric on 05/31/2012

ProFoam Foaming Concentrate works as they said. Drilled into a porch slab and filled the holes until i saw foam coming out of the holes next to each other which tells me it was getting to the unseen areas below the concrete slab for the termite treatment i wanted. thank you very much for your product information that is so simple to understand.

    ProFoam foaming agent

    By Anonymous on 06/17/2013

It works as described. I first tried it with water in my foamer, then with termiticide solution. About 1-2 oz per gallon of water produced a thick foam; it took 5-6 oz per gallon termiticide solution for the same results. I am very satisfied, and I'm glad I bought a gallon!

Q
Can I foam inside an insulated drywall wall without damaging the drywall or insulation?
A
You can foam in an insulated wall and it should not damage the drywall or insulation, however insulation will prevent the foam from getting where it needs to go.  What are you trying to foam and what is your issue?  If you are foaming for termites, then you should not be concerned about foaming an entire wall void.  You should only be concerned about getting the foam near the wood and studs.  Typically when a company foams walls, they drill holes at the top of the ceiling on either side of the studs and foam down the stud from the ceiling.  This way you have gravity working in your favor and you are getting the foam against the wood which is all that matters.

Q
I want to make a foaming Timbor solution with ProFoam Foaming Concentrate. Will the foam create a lot of pressure in my plastic sprayer?
A
To foam a product, you have to have a foaming sprayer which is a special piece of equipment.  A normal hand pump sprayer will not work properly.  We recommend our Chapin Poly Foamers that come in a 1 or 2 gallon size.  This works best when using ProFoam with another product.

Q
How many ounces of ProFoam Foaming Concentrate do I use for 1 gallon?

Using Dominion 2L.

A

To achieve low expansion you would use 0.5 up to 1.5 oz of ProFoam per gallon of mixture. To achieve high expansion you would use 1.5 oz up to 9 oz of ProFoam per gallon of mixture. We typically recommend using about 2 to 3 oz per gallon of mixture. Please keep in mind that expansion rates will vary depending on pH and temperature.

Q
What's needed for in wall termite foaming?

Just purchased & used dominion 2L for sub termites under slab & in wall studs. I drilled thru slab where I saw them coming up & put min 1/2 gallon per hole. I guess I won't see results for a while now. I would like to do a foaming treatment inside the voids between studs. What do you recommend for that? Basically - how long until dominion takes effect? & what do I need for foam treatment in walls? (A non repellent i would assume). Thank you for your time, you guys have been Extremely helpful! Super satisfied with website & customer service!! Thanks again!

A

You can foam Dominion itself into voids but you will need to purchase a foaming concentrate such as Profoam to add to the solution and you will also need a foaming device such as the Chapin Poly Foamer to make the solution into a foam. You can also choose to use a ready-to use foam such as Termidor Foam which is a non-repellent too. It can take up to 90 days to see the full effect of using a non-repellent product as it is designed to have a slow kill.

We appreciate all of your kind comments about our staff and site!
