ProPest Clothes Moth Trap
By Ellen on 06/04/2010
Unfortunately, these "pre-baited" packs do not work as well as the old model traps where you had to put the pheromone bait in place yourself. I had these traps out for 2 weeks before a moth was caught. I have 6-month old previous model traps that are doing a better job. I will probably not be purchasing this item again. Please bring back the old style trap!

So far, no results
By Dave on 05/16/2011
I set up the traps as soon as they arrived, but have caught nothing as of this writing. I know I have clothes moths in the house, because I just discovered some holes in one of my favorite wool ties. I don't know if the traps had already lost their "power" or what, but they don't seem to be working.

Underwhelmed and ineffective
By Socolisa on 12/21/2018
These moth traps did not work well. After one month, the first trap had caught two moths. I placed the other trap inside my closet and the only moth it caught was one I grabbed out of mid-air with the trap. I also purchased some of the Catchmaster traps and those totally rocked! I was being swarmed by moths while I was putting the phermone square into the CatchMaster trap. I have used two packages of the Catchmaster brand and every one of them has been filled with moths within a couple of weeks. The ProPest clothes moth traps were a complete waste of good money.

Worthless
By David on 02/04/2017
Followed instructions to a tee and after 10 days moths are still flying around but not one in the trap! They are clothes moths and clothes moth traps....
Expert response:
Thank you for your feedback! If you are finding clothes moths but they are not attracted to the ProPest Clothes Moth Traps, then you may have casemaking clothes moths. These are a less common type of clothes moth, but they will not be attracted to this particular trap. You can learn more about this type of moth here:
http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-clothes-moths-a-427.html
Be sure that you are using no more than 2 traps at a time in your home. If you use too many traps, then the moths will not be able to locate the source of the pheromone.
Please let us know if you have further questions.

Have not had any luck with these
By Emily on 06/03/2016
I have had a trap in my closet where I have wool eating moths. I have seen them flying around here and there in my closet and not one has gone to this trap. I have had many cashmere sweaters ruined by these moths/larvae, and we caught one and looked it up online and it is definitely the clothes moth that we have.

ProPest Clothes Moth Traps
By E. on 04/13/2012
After 2 weeks of placing two clothes moth traps in my home on separate floors I did not catch one moth. I had a serious moth infestation for approx. one month. I did go to Home Depot and got Pet/Child Safety spray for flying insects and it worked great. It is a combination of plant oils. As far as these moth traps go, I would never purchase them again. Waste of my money. I would not give it a rating of one star, except that it is required.

ProPest Clothes Moth Trap
By Jason on 11/30/2011
I put this trap around the area where I spotted the Clothes Moth in my closet. The Clothes Moth ignored the trap and I did NOT see a single moth trapped there! This trap is very expensive to begin with, I certainly thought it would work but unfortunately NOT working.
