Wish the traps locked like the last ones I bought a few years ago.

The Protecta Rat Bait Stations do not lock automatically, but they do ship with a screw and allen wrench and zip ties which can be used to secure the stations. No written instructions come with it. A YouTube search shows how to assemble the rods, but the vertical rods won't let the top close. Looks like someone made it in their garage. But, seems like it will do the job.
