    Q
Can I spray this on window screens, sliding door screens, siding, etc?
Can I spray this on window screens, sliding door screens, siding, etc? Flies are entering the house somewhere unknown. Guessing its cracks along the windows and siding. Looking for something that will kill them when they land without me having to chase and spray them. Thanks!
    A
PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait would make a great bait for use indoors for fly control. You can spray it onto window sills or use a removable bait placement, like on an object made of wood, plastic or cardboard, that way you can move the baited object to the area of activity. Please read the product label for complete application instructions.

    Q
Is it harmful if my dog were to eat dead flies from using PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait?
    A

Generally, larger animals would need to eat their weight in flies before getting sick from the active ingredient in PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait since they have such a small amount of product on them.

Regarding areas treated with PT Alpine Fly Bait, DO NOT apply on surfaces low enough where animals can ingest the product.

For any concerns regarding your pets health, please consult with your Vet for medical advise with the SDS Sheet for more information.

    Q
Can PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait be used on non flowering plants to kill houseflies?
    A

PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait cannot be applied directly to the foliage of plants as it is not labeled for that use. Alternative methods would be to spray the pot/container around the sides or spray the bait on a piece of plastic such as an old gift card, membership card, etc and place it near the plant if needed.

    Q
How do you use PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait in a horse barn?
    A

PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait is great for outdoor areas and indoor areas out of reach of the animals. We would also recommend using other products to assist with fly control such as traps. For outdoor fly control, disposable traps such as the Catchmaster Disposable Fly Trap are easy to use and catch thousands of flies in each trap. These are very popular around farms, dairies, etc. Be sure to hang at least 30 feet away from the house or other areas where you plan to spend a lot of time since they attract the flies and will have an odor. Revenge Fly Reels for inside barns or stables: These come in a small reel and also a Huge Reel: Small/Large. You will need mounting hardware for the Huge Reel.

    Q
Will PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait work to control crane flies?
    A

Adult crane flies do not really feed on anything so baits are ineffective. If the crane flies are getting into your home, you should note they only live for about 2-4 days. You can use a product such as CB-80 to spot treat as you see them. Additionally, here is our guide to learn how to control them outside.

    Q
How do I prevent PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait from staining my walls?
I sprayed on my wall as a spot treatment and it left a stain mark
    A

PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait should not stain walls when applied as directed.  However since some colors can show water marks more than others, it is always recommended to test in a small area before using over bigger areas.  If staining on the wall is an issue we would recommend not applying to the area or applying to something that you could then hang in the area on the wall.
