Yes. You can use a product such as Permethrin SFR tank mixed with Martins IGR. The comination of these two products will give you an adulticide to ete the adult fleas and and insect growth regulator to help break the cycle of the immature fleas from developiing. Prior to treatment, carpets, draperies and upholstered furniture should be vacuumed thoroughly and the vacuum cleaner bag disposed of in an outdoor trash receptacle. Remove pets from area to be treated. After treatment, do not allow children and pets into treated areas until spray has dried.You may need to repeat these treatments 3-4 times in 2 week intervals depending on how bad the infestation is. Pets and yards should also be treated with approved products.
Per the label instructions, for PT Ultracide: Using a sweeping motion, apply a light uniform spray to all surfaces of furniture, rugs, carpets, drapes, and around all pet resting areas. Avoid thoroughly wetting surfaces. Mist treated areas only until slightly damp.
It is not recommended to use Ultracide on mattresses. We recommend that you remove all linens and wash and dry on high heat to kill any existing fleas. While they are being laundered, we recommend spraying your mattress and box spring with SteriFab give time to completely dry before applying your linens back on the bed. We suggest that you have the cat treated for fleas by your vet. Ultracide is great for indoor flea treatments on carpeted, hard surface floors and furniture. We recommend vacuuming prior to the application and each day for 14 days. On the 14th day, you will vacuum and treat with a second application of Ultracide and vacuum for additional 14 days. After vacuuming each day, replace with a new bag or empty the canister (if bagless) in a trash bag outside of the home.
Per the SDS sheet, PT Ultracide is harmful if inhaled. A dust mask should be work to prevent inhalation. When applied according to the product label directly into cracks and crevices, direct contact will be minimal. If the product has been inhaled we suggest you contact your local poison control center or physician.
No, PT Ultracide cannot be sprayed on pillows. It can only be used to treat infested areas such as: carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, pet beds and pet resting areas. To treat your memory foam pillows you can use Steri-Fab Insecticide, it can be used for contact kill and will leave no residual once it's dry.
You can spray Ultracide on most hardwood floors but it is not required to treat hard floor surfaces for fleas. You should direct treatment to cracks and crevices around these rooms.
Ultracide is only labeled for the treatment of fleas. We carry other products including aerosols that are listed to treat ants, spiders and other insects. Please follow the link below for additional products. We recommend that you vacuum and treat the basement floor with Ultracide, vacuum daily for 14 days and retreat 14 days after the intial application. It may take a third or fourth treatment to erradicate the fleas.

Ultracide should not have any negative affects on furniture, although if you have concerns about any fabrics it would be best to do a test application in an inconspicuous spot first. Ultracide should not be applied to electronics.
