    Q
Is PyGanic Crop Protection EC 1.4 II suitable for orchids grown in the greenhouse?
I have over 300 orchid plants mostly Cattleyas. I am having a problem with Thrips. Has this been tested on orchids?
    A

PyGanic Crop Protection EC 1.4 II is labeled for use on flowers and ornamentals in a greenhouse. According to the manufacturer, they have not done testing on orchids in particular, however, because it is labeled for flowers, there should be no problem. We would recommend testing a small amount first to see what the effects of the product are on your orchids.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Plant safety is an important consideration when using insecticides in a greenhouse. However, it is not possible to evaluate the phytotoxicity of PyGanic
