  • Asked by Gary from Sacramento
    07/25/2018
    Q
Does PyGanic Gardening kill spider mite eggs?
    A

PyGanic Gardening is labeled to treat for mites in general, but it is not specifically labeled for eggs. Most insecticides will not list the eggs of pests on the product label since testing for this is very costly. You will want to get thorough coverage with your spraying for spider mites and treat tops and bottoms of the leaves. Tpyically you would retreat at 7-14 day intervals as needed, rotating active ingredients if you need to do more than 2-3 sequential applications.

What is the waiting interval time after applying PyGanic Gardening before I can work with with the plants without irritating my skin?

Typically when using any type of insecticide you need to give at least a few hours for the product to dry on the surface before handling the plants. The PyGanic Gardening is a contact kill only as well, so once its dry there is no residual left behind.

    Q
I may have over applied the pyganics, what will happen?
Was spraying large zucchini plants and trying to cover all the leaves, I used a lot and there was run off. also felt I needed to cover the rest of the garden so I mixed up a 2nd gallon. basically I used a 1.4 oz on 15 plants... the bugs are bad
    A
Unfortunately we cannot say for sure. The heat and sun will be factors in determining what damage may occur. The more sun/heat the higher likelihood that you will see scorching.
