    How does Ranger compare to MSMA?
    A
    Ranger Pro is a glyphosate product that kills pretty much whatever you apply it to.  MSMA uses a different active ingredient. MSMA mainly targets nutsedge.

    My condo assoc. sprays Ranger Pro Herbicide on a weekly basis. One of my cats was very ill for about a week. He sits outside under a scrub when I let him out. Is it necessary to spray weekly? How long after spraying should I keep him in?

    Ranger Pro Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide that can be applied to weeds or grass. It is recommended that pets are not in the area during treatment/application and remain out of the area until completely dry. We suggest that you speak to the manufacturer of the product for additional toxicity 800-332-3111 Monsanto.

    How long before rain is Ranger Pro effective?
    A

    The product label for Ranger Pro Herbicide does not specify a certain amount of time but it does say that heavy rain soon after application may require a repeat application. You just want to make sure you have at least 6 hours of dry weather after you apply Ranger Pro to ensure its absorbed and not washed away, but up to 24 hours with dry weather is ideal for maximum uptake.

    Will Ranger Pro kill bull thistles?
    if so, will the thistles grow back?

    Ranger Pro Herbicide - 2.5 Gallons will kill thistle. Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus Concentrate will provide season long control of thistle. This product is both a pre and post emergent that contains a 6 moth long residual that keeps the weeds at bay.

    Can I use Ranger Pro on veg. garden prep and before winter covering. been using Roundup, but gets expensive
    Roundup I have been using is the red label, says OK for garden prep. Looking for something as strong, maybe a little more residual. I have purchased quite a few products from you for insect control. been very satisfied with everything I have gotten.

    Per the manufacturer Ranger pro can be applied to a garden plot if all plants have been removed and the garden will not be used again until Spring.

    When treating for Goat Weed mix 2 and 2/3 oz Ranger with 1 gallon water. Always be sure to follow label instructions before application.

    What is the mix rate for 200 gallons of Ranger Pro?
    I am gonna spray a 2-3 acre gravel parking lot with ranger pro. I am gonna mix around 200 gallons in my tank. How many ounces per gallon would u recommend for that? My sprayer and nozzle is set up to spray at 2 gallons per minute. I want to kill any kind of weed that will be present.

    Per the Ranger Pro product label it states that you can mix 1-20 gallons per 200 gallons of water. The dilution ratio chart is located on Page 3. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Once the weeds have been killed by Ranger Pro, do I need to rake up the dead weeds or can I just overseed?

    We recommend that after applying Ranger Pro that you clean up all dead vegetation prior to overseeding. Please refer to the product label for specific instructions on dilution and application.

    How much Ranger Pro should I use to stun grass and not kill it completely?

    Ranger Pro is a non-selective post emergent herbicide. It will kill weeds and grasses when applied. There is not a specific dilution for only stunning the grass with this product per the product label. Ranger Pro is a generic of RoundUp. Any contact with the solution will harm the grass.

    Can Ranger Pro and Weed Impede be mixed together to work as both a pre-emergent and post-emergent in one application?
    A
    We do not recommend mixing Ranger Pro and Weed Impede together. Ranger Pro is a non selective post emergent herbicide and it will kill just about any type of vegetation that it is sprayed on so we would not advise for you to use on your lawn.

    If you follow the product label and keep pets out of the area during the application and until the area is dry, Ranger Pro Herbicicde will not be harmful to pets.
