    Does the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb have a residual?
    A

    The Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb does not leave a residual. Once a cartridge has burned, the smoke dissipates and is no longer active.

    The Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb minimum burn time is 5 minutes and the fumes last a minute or so past that.  They will need to be left in the hole for at least 24 hours without being disturbed.

    There is not a specific time of day to apply Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb. You do want to make sure the animals are in burrows for effectiveness and away from structures for use.

    The moles are in my vegetable garden. Will these smoke bombs harm my plants?
    A
    No, Revenge Rodent Smoke Bombs will not harm your plants since they will go in the burrows and dens of animals listed. If you are concerned about your plants and using a smoke bomb underneath it, we would recommend using Talpirid Mole Bait. This mimics their food and is ingested.

    Can the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb be used under a cement porch?
    I have a cement porch in the front of my house where rats are burrowing.

    According to the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb product label, this product should NOT be used under buildings, homes, porches or any structure due to possible fire hazard. It should only be used inside of burrows.  Please see our Rat Guide  for more information on recommended products for rat control.

    When using the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb is the cartridge supposed to burn all the way?
    I used a couple of cartridges, and it doesn't feel like they are empty. Are the cartridges supposed to burn all the way through or only part way?

    No, the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb does not burn all the way down; it will only burn about halfway down.

    If my Revenge Rodent Smoke Bombs got wet in storage, can they be dried out and then used?

    Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb must be stored in a dry place.  If they get wet they may not be effective even when dried out.

    Raccoons and groundhogs are burrowing underneath my porch. Can I use the Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb there?
    A

    The Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb cannot be used in burrows that would go under the house, because yes if there are cracks that can allow it to reach inside the house it will.  They should only be applied to the active burrows away from the home.  They also would not be used for something as large as a raccoon, only for rodent size animals.  Please refer to our Groundhog Control for further information/products on treating them.  For raccoons, trapping and relocating is best.

    Can Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb be used for a rat in the base of a hot tub?

    Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb are only labeled for use in burrows where the gas will disperse in the tunnels and soil not in the open air.  They cannot be used in areas above ground.

    Will Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb react with any residual ammonia?
    I've been trying to get rid of my groundhogs by dumping water absorbing crystals soaked with ammonia into the burrow but they keep coming back. Will this product react with any residual ammonia?
    A

    Revenge Rodent Smoke Bomb is not recommended to be used where ammonia may be present. Bonide has recommended that  you contact them directly 800-536-8231, because they would like more specifics.
