    Q
I need a better product than Advion cockroach bait gel
I had advion and it was perfect to get rid of all the roaches in my apartment but after few months they came back because the neighbors have the same issue. I tried to use advion again because I bought few, but now it does not do anything to them. What can I do now?
    A
We would recommend our Roach Control Kit #1.  This professional kit includes 4 x 35 gram tubes of Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Plus, 20 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.

    Q
Is there a can of fogger that you can get to spray into small areas such as cupboards for a cockroach problem?
    A
No. Canned fogging products require a lot more space for applications and would not be an appropriate choice for treating inside a cupboard. You do have other options that would work very well. The most commonly used approach in cupboards is roach bait gel. You can use a roach bait gel like Advion and put small dots about every 12 inches directly in the cracks and crevices and around the door hinges. Gel works best in this situation because the roaches will eat the gel and return to the nesting area and spread the gel to the other roaches, eliminating many roaches instead of just the ones that came into contact with the gel. The other option would be to use an aerosol insecticide such as D-Force HPX or Cy-Kick. Both of these come with a straw attachment that you could use to get into all of the cracks and crevices. The drawback here is that you must completely empty out the cupboard for the application and only the roaches that come into contact with the treated area will die. We would also recommend using an IGR like Gentrol Point source for best results. IGRs (insect growth regulators) interrupt the life cycle of juvenile roaches and will help stop the breeding cycle while you are trying to get rid of the infestation. We have put together a roach kit that contains both the Advion and the Gentrol that will help save you a few dollars.

We think the product that may have been used was Demon WP. We think Demon WP works very well as part of a roach control program. In fact we have included Demon WP in our Roach Control Kit #2 which also includes the other products you will need to really get rid of the roaches.

    Q
Is the Roach Control Kit okay to use if I have only seen two roaches?
Just moved into an apartment. Manager stated apartment had been empty for three months. Once I moved in I found 10-12 dead roaches in the kitchen and 3-5 in the bathroom. I cleaned them all out and have been in the apartment about a week. I ordered the "Roach Control Kit #1" as soon as I moved in. It just arrived yesterday and so far I have been in the apartment a week and have only seen 2 alive roaches (both in kitchen). I have yet to unpack the kitchen as I wanted to do bug control first so I bleached everything down and left the cabinets and drawers bare. My question is... Since I have only seen two live roaches will I be attracting more roaches by using the roach control kit? Should I not put down the bait and gentrol? I don't want to make my problem worse.
    A
You can use the Roach Control Kit#1 even if you have only seen a couple of roaches. You should limit the amount of bait you place and only put it in the rooms where you have seen activity. The Gentrol Point Source can be invaluable to a roach control program and can be used year round to control any invading roaches and stop breeding before it starts. Place one out for every 75 sq ft in your apartment.

    Q
    Cyper TC vs Cyper WP
I have purchased Cyper TC . What is the main difference between that and Cyper WP? I would like to get rid of pests such as roaches etc.
    A
Cyper TC is strictly for outdoor use. Most commonly used for termite treatments and ant control around the perimeter. Cyper TC is a repellent, meaning it will only kill the insects that come into contact with it, while Cyper WP leaves a residual for up to 3 months and can be used inside.  Cyper WP is a wettable powder that leaves a white powder residue behind. Can be used inside as crack and crevice treatment and outdoors as a perimeter treatment. For treating roaches indoors/outdoors, Cyper WP is the better choice.

    Q
How can I be sure if the Roach Control Kit 1 will help?
Where and how should I be applying the products in the Roach Control Kit 1? Is this kit safe for babies and pets?
    A
All of our products are the same effective products that a professional company would use but without the high cost.  The effectiveness of the Roach Control Kit#1 and the results you get all depend on how well you apply the products.  Each product in the Roach Control Kit comes with full instructions that explain where and how to use it in detail.  Along with using the products, you also have to exercise a high level of cleanliness and leave no crumbs or water out at night or else the roach gel in the kit will not work.  All of the products are very safe to use around children and pets when used correctly.  We are always happy to answer any questions or address any concerns Mon-Fri at 866-581-7378.

    Q
I purchased a Roach Control Kit, and it was working good for a few weeks. Now they are getting worse again.
We focused most in the kitchen, laundry room, pantry, and bathrooms because they were worse there. There was a noticeable difference in the first few weeks, but now, there seem to be just as many live roaches as there are dead ones throughout the house. We completely clean the kitchen counters and stove, sweep and mop, and vacuum every night. It just doesn't seem to be working anymore. I also see more of them with the deformed wings from the discs.
    A
There could be many contributing factors to the fact that the roaches are still there. That is great you are cleaning and making sure there are no other food attractants, but the roach bait gel. You want to make sure you apply the bait gel as needed, at least replacing every 30 days. For bad infestations, you want to rebait once a week. Have you treated underneath the sinks, behind toilets, behind washing machines? Please be sure that you are not spraying the Demon WP where you are baiting. Keep the DemonWP application to entry points, cracks and crevices. Lastly, it sounds like Roach Control Kit is working to eradicate the roaches. You are in the first few weeks after treating and are starting to see deformed roaches. Treating for roaches is a process and can take time.

    Q
Cy-Kick has helped with the roaches but I have more than I thought. Is there something stronger I can use?
    A
Cy-Kick CS is one of the top products for roach control but it is not a contact kill and will only kill those roaches contact the treated are.  We recommend using a roach bait gel to help get rid of roaches in places where you cannot spray with the Cy-Kick CS. We also recommend using an IGR (insect growth regulator) which helps stop the roaches breeding cycle while you are trying to get rid of the infestation. Take a look at our Roach Control Kit #1. It contains all the additional products needed to help rid your home of roaches.

    Q
What product do you have that will control roaches in my house but be safe to use around my exotic bird?
I have issues with roaches in my kitchen and need a product that I can use that will be safe around my Macaw bird.
    A

We would recommend using our Roach Control Kit #1. It comes with bait gel and Gentrol Point Sources. The bait gel will be used in places such as between different elements of construction, between equipment and floors, openings leading into voids and hollow spaces in floors, walls, ceilings, equipment legs and bases, around plumbing pipes, doors and windows, and behind and under appliances, cabinets, sinks, closets, and any other equipment that cockroaches are typically known to hide. Do not use residual insecticides in the same areas as the gel placements.

Gentrol Point Source is a special Roach control device that contains the Gentrol Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) hydroprene for 90-day control of roaches. Activating Gentrol Point Source is as simple as squeezing the raised end of the plastic, adhesive-back device. This releases Gentrol IGR onto a filter paper. From there, it moves up to 75 square feet. That way pests never need to come in contact with the device. One to two weeks after application, you will begin to see roaches with crinkled wings, showing the initial effects of the IGR. These roaches cannot reproduce. All the benefits of an insect growth regulator in a discreet, non-spray formulation.

These products will not affect your bird.

    Q
Should I rotate my bug spray usage to keep you roaches from building resistance to the spray.
    A
Please see our Roach control page. We would recommend to alternate insecticides so that the roaches do not get resistant.  Also, to incorporate a gel bait like Vendetta Plus.

    Q
What are the ingredients in the Roach Kit 1? Any pyrethrum in this product?
Is there any kind of guarantee?
    A

The Roach Kit 1 contains 2 products: Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel which has the active ingredient of Imidacloprid 2.15%, and Gentrol Point Source Stations which is purely birth control for the insects with the ingredient (S)-Hydroprene (CAS 65733-18-8) . . . . . . . . 90.6.

There is no pyrethrum of any variation in this kit. We do not offer a 100% money back guarantee because we cannot be sure that you are using the products correctly. However we always want you to be happy with your purchase and we promise that if you use the products as we have instructed on both the product pages, the articles on our site on How To Get Rid of Roaches, and our Instructional Video (which you can find on the kit product page) on how to apply the products, you will see the results you are looking for.

I have a cat that eats roaches he has already been sick from ingesting. We have used the ortho home defense.
My cat has already been poisoned is your product safe if he ingests a roach that has been poisoned with the bait or spray.
    A
We would be really hesitant to recommend any product for you if your cat was negatively effected by a different product already. In your case it may be a better idea to use a pheromone baited glue traps so that the roaches can not be consumed by your cat.

    Q
Will spraying ExciteR and Onslaught work alone to kill roaches?
I live in a duplex and when my neighbors moved in they brought roaches with them and waited almost a year to do anything about it. The roaches are now in my apartment, my landlord has hired an exterminator who is spraying ExciteR and Onslaught every two weeks. I don't think they are using an IGR in the mix, and they aren't using a bait. The roaches in my apartment seem to be getting worse not better. So my real question is if I get some gel bait and an IGR would that help to kill the roaches in my apartment and the ones downstairs in the neighbors apartment? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
    A
We definitely think you will benefit from adding a roach bait  and and insect growth regulator to your roach control program. Our Roach Control Kit #1 contains both of the products you will need to achieve better roach control in your apartment. We also recommend trying seal as many cracks and crevices as possible around the perimeter of each room to help stop having roaches move from one apartment to another.

    Q
I applied the gel in cabinets. How long before I can put my stuff back in?
Do I clean up the dried gel before reapplication.
    A
If you apply the gel in the manor that it directs, in small dabs along just the crevices of the cabinets, then you can replace your plates and cabinet items right afterwards. Once the roach population has been eliminated you can wipe up any remaining bait gel with water and soap on a rag.

    Q
I have a bad roach problem; I sprayed all over my kitchen and the next morning they where all over the place.
    A
For roaches, we would recommend our Roach Control Kit. It contains a bait gel that the roaches will eat and Gentrol Point Sources. Gentrol Point Sources are active for 90 days and inhibit the reproduction of the roaches. It is like a birth control. We would recommend using both of these. Also, we would recommend spraying Phantom Aerosol. This product should not be sprayed around where you have placed the bait gel because the roaches will not be as attracted to it. This is a crack and crevice spray. You will spray this along the baseboards and cracks and crevices. It does have a residual of 30 days. None of these products work instantly so you will possibly have to do multiple treatments. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
After using suspend for almost three years, I don't have any kind of insect in the house but roaches all over.
I started using Suspend almost three years ago, and got rid of all kinds of insects. There are no insects of any kind other than roaches, I can't get rid of them, no matter how much I spray the house every where once or twice a week sometimes, they're still all over my house.
    A
We would recommend the Roach Control Kit # 1. It contains Invict Bait Gel and Gentrol Point Sources. Make sure when you put the bait gel down that you are not spraying any type of insecticide over it so that it does not get contaminated. The Gentrol Point Sources are like a birth control for the roaches. It will stop them from reproducing. They last for 90 days. With a combination of both of these, the roaches should decrease. We would recommend changing out the kind of bait every 6 months so they do not become resistant to it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
What bomb would be suitable for a16000 cuft. house for roach control?.
I have seen mice in a tenant's 1-bedroom Apt. What is best?
    A
The first thing you should know is that bombs are highly ineffective when trying to control roaches of any species. Bombs will only kill while they are going off (they leave no residual behind) and contrary to popular belief, they do not penetrate into walls or inside cabinets or under furniture, so it will only kill the roaches that come out while the bomb is dispersing. If you are looking to accurately, quickly, and completely eliminate the roaches in your home you will want to follow the steps outlined in our article How To Get Rid of Roaches, and use either of our Roach Control Kitsaccordingly. The products in our kits are professional grade items (just like the pros that come out use) and are put together to help you save money and get the results you are looking for the fastest. Roach problems do not develop over night and will not go away overnight, so patience and time will be needed for the products to do their job and get to the center of the colony you don't see. If you have any other questions after looking at our article and the roach kits, feel free to contact us anytime.
