    Can Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket be used in Zone 9 for overwinter use?

    Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket is a mixture of 65% RPR Patented Technology and 35% Premium Perennial Ryegrass variety which is a cool season grass. These types of grasses will usually be found in the North part of the country. You can contact your local extension office to see if they advise growing it in your region.

    Can Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket be used is shade areas?
    I have an area in the backyard that is shaded may be 2-3 hrs of sun light. I like in cool season grass area (WA). Can this work?

    Yes, Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket has to be watered in. Once water is applied, the coating holds that moisture and other nutrients around the seed - making them available as needed for germination and establishment.

    Can RPR with Yellow Jacket be used on a live bentgrass putting green for over seeding and establishment?

    What's the application rate of RPR with Yellow Jacket if I want to overseed bermuda?
    I'm have Bermuda and hoping to have a green lawn when in the winter when bermuda goes dormant. Hoe many lbs are needed to overseed per 1000 sft?

    For overseeding warm season turf with Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket, the rate is 10 to 15lbs per 1,000 square feet.  For overseeding cool season turf, the rate is 4 to 15lbs per 1000 sq ft. 

    New Seeding Rates is 8 to 10lbs per 1000 sq ft / Acres: 340 to 345 lbs per acre
