I own a Lawncare business, I have (4) 2 for icemelt and 2 we use on average size properties with lots of trees to go around; these little spreaders, for the money work really well, with no more than 40lbs in the hopper at a time. Personally I put a little over half of the bag at a time. As far as the plastic wheels, all of the Scotts spreaders have plastic wheels. IF the plastic wheels bother you, you need to get your real check book out, cause those babies start around 400.00 for something worth a sh!t with rubber wheels!
