Both products produce excellent results its not a case of which is better, they just have different active ingredients and applications areas. Scythe Herbicide is a post-emergent, nonselective herbicide for the control of grassy and broadleaf weeds, moss, and certain algaes that contains Nonanoic acid 57%.  It can be used around in Landscape and Turf areas, greenhouse and dry aquatic areas. Diquat s a fast-acting aquatic & landscape herbicide that kills both weeds and grasses that contains Diquat Dibromide 37.3%.  It is mainly used as an aquatic herbicide in the water, as well as in greenhouses, nurseries, recreational, commercial, residential and public areas
