SeClear is a potent algaecide formulated to be an all-in-one solution to scum or toxic cyanobacteria in backyard ponds or lakes and reservoirs. This formula works as an algaecide and a water enhancer for better water management and improvement. Unlike other algaecides, SeClear reduces phosphorus content in the water which eliminates the vicious cycle of algae regrowth and algaecide reapplication. Apart from algae control, intervals between applications are much longer with this product and follow-up applications are much smaller as time goes by making it the cost-effective choice for an algaecide.

I ordered 7.5 gallons of SeClear Algaecide. The order was expedited in a timely manner. It was shipped much sooner than I anticipated. The Algaecide was used to treat a one acre lake behind my house. The results were obvious within a few days. I would recommend Do My Own to anyone who needs these products.

Per the SEClear Algaeide label you should only treat ½ of the pond at a time, as there will be oxygen loss when killing off the algae and weeds. To prevent harming the fish you should begin your treatment along the shore and move outward in bands so that the fish can move into untreated water. Wait 14 days and then treat the other half of the pond.

The product label of SeClear Algaecide states "This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Waters treated with this product may be hazardous to aquatic organisms. Treatment of aquatic weeds and algae can result in oxygen loss from the decomposition of dead algae and weeds. This oxygen loss can cause fish and invertebrate suffocation. To minimize this hazard, do not treat more than ½ the water to avoid depleation of oxygen.
For applications in water that will be used for drinking water, those waters must receive addtional and separate potable water treatment.
Please view more information under the Environmental Hazards Section of the product label.

The application rate for SeClear Algaecide depends on the algae type/species you are trying to treat for. Please see table 1 on page 2 of the product label for complete application rates and instructions.
For best results, SeClear Algaecide should be applied under calm and sunny conditions when the water temperature is at least 60 degrees.
