Very specific, so it doesn't damage the turf grass, but rids the lawn of nut grass from my neighbor's yard. One treatment does the trick, and the nut grass is gone within a week.

Had tons of green kyllinga in my Bermuda yard. One heavy spay and all gone. The correct product for my needs. A little expensive, took 24 packages to do one acre

I tried to use products from our local garden center but they just wilted the plants and they came back stronger than ever. One application of SedgeHammer and our problem is solved.

First time home owner and after learning the different types of weeds that appeared over these years, I still get nutsedge in the summer. This product works and works well. I have tried other products that claim to kill nutsedge but they are for multiple types of weeds and noticed nothing. I use 4 level spoons (supplied) to my 4 gal backpack sprayer. Spray them, wait two days, mow and within 2 more days you will see the nutsedge over top of grass line. Not when I use SedgeHammer!

I use this in my Clover foodplot. Because of the expense I spot spray the Yellow Nutsedge.It takes a few weeks to yellow the mature Sedges but two weeks later they are gone. You have to keep at it because of all the nutlets that have yet to sprout but it doesn't hurt your Clover.

Battled quick growing yellow nutsedge for a couple of months. This product is not cheap, but it works, and a little goes a long way, I'll have this bottle for a few years if this should pop up in my yard again. Our whole neighborhood has been taken over by sedge, but my yard is now virtually sedge-free.

Seems expensive but will kill the Nutsedge. Could see that the weed stopped growing within the first week. At week 3 it was clear it was done. Months later it has dried up. Will have to see by next summer if it killed the seeds underground.

Sledgehammer works. I like the individual packets for my residential yard of 2 k sq ft. I apply once a season at first glance of the sedge hammer weed. Poof; before I know it the weed is gone at the next mowing. Works well in the flower beds also.

Did spot treatment in areas of the lawn and by day 10th day the sedge was turning brown

Have tried unsuccessful for years to get rid of nutshedge. Thus stuff works great, does not hurt the lawn, and kills it permanently. It is slow to kill it, but don't worry it is working and it doesn't come back!

This product works great. I have two types of grass in my yard- St. Augustine and Centipede. Sledgehammer kills the nutsedge without damaging my grass. Takes about two weeks to work. I've been using it for several years and will continue using it. Love that you don't have to add a surfactant.

This is an economical package that not everyone offers, at a great price. Nothing is perfect, but this stuff works well. The only thing that might improve it's efficacy is to buy some for the neighbors.

Have had tremendous problem past 5 years since purchasing current home with nutsedge. Lawn was in great shape with very good weed control except for nutsedge that would pop up all over between grass cutting. Current company that applies fertilizer and weed control told me not to pull it because it would cause it to spread and they were good about making additional visits to control it. Not wanting to call them constantly I tried various products that either didn't work or that left dead spots in yard. Finally asked man who treated my yard what he used and he referred me to commercial company that referred me to DoMyOwn. Ordered Sledgehammer on Friday and received on Tuesday as promised. Mixed one envelope with one gallon water and applied on all nutsedge noted (a lot). Still most of gallon left in sprayer. Cut yard 6 days ago. Went out today with remainder in sprayer and found 3 nutsedge plants in front yard and maybe 6 in backyard that were green and I guess I missed. The remaining nutsedge I didn't cut were yellow and wilted. Lawn unaffected. This stuff is great

I had Yellow Nutsedge coming up in patches all over the yard. Luckily my brother-in-law, who is head of grounds at a university, was over and told me the only thing he found that works well is SledgeHammer. I ordered some immediately and sprayed in on all the patches. In a couple days I could tell they'd stopped growing. A couple more days and it was clear they were dying. It's been a couple weeks now and the grass is starting to fill in where the Nutsedge was. He was right. It works!

I have used Image and MSM previously and although they suppress nutsedge fairly well it takes several applications and the results are disappointing. Then I tried SEDGEHAMMER! It is way too expensive for widespread use but it works GREAT! One treatment seems to have eliminated my problem. If you want something that will get rid of nutsedge this is it! Then results were evident in one week. I wish I could find it generically.

I tried ordering Sedge Hammer off of Amazon, but for some reason they said they couldn't ship to my area. So, I dealt with a horrible nut sedge problem for a couple of years. Then a buddy of mine said that he treated his yard with Sedge Hammer+ and had great results. I looked online again and was able to order the product through DMO. I applied it to my back yard first where the nut sedge was getting out of control, and WOW! I checked back in 6-7 days and I couldn't find any nut sedge!! I just applied it to my front yard a couple of days ago and I am looking forward to the same results! I would highly recommend this product for anyone dealing with nut sedge in their yard!

It takes around 4 to 5 weeks to work, but it does work. Just be patient. I am supremely impressed by the service from DoMyOwn. Stuff ships the day I order it, and I receive it within 2-3 days (from Georgia to California). Also, the prices are better than Amazon and the delivery time is as good, or better, than Amazon Prime ( without paying $12.95 per month for AP). I'm really sold on DoMyOwn.

This product works as promised, killed sedge and did not harm grass. Expensivve in this packaging. I am not sure that it covered 1000 Sq. ft. Would recommend to others, but for larger areas, recommend purchasing a different qty. even if it means you have to pay for surfactant additive.

I've had nutsedge in my lawn for the past few years, and it was getting out of control. The SedgeHammer + eliminated all of it. It also did not damage any of the grass or nearby plantings. My only regret is not learning about, and using this product sooner. Highly recommend.

Bought the Nut Sedge killer for 1 gallon treatment. Sprayed it over the nut sedge areas in my lawn. Within 2 weeks, the nut sedge turned brown and now is gone. Great stuff. Worked as the package described.

this product is hard to find, i used to buy it at the local Ace hardware but they dont sell it any more. The other big box store products temporarily kill the foliage of nutgrass, this product does it once and for all. im glad i found Domyown,com my new lawncare product supplier.

I haven't had much success in the past getting rid of sedge in my St. Augustine grass. I followed the instructions and added to a sprayer. I applied where it was spreading badly - about a 10-15' area, and it has stopped the growth and it is turning yellow. It took a couple of weeks but it does work. I will be using it again.

This product works as advertised! I have used it in the past. Simple to apply, eliminates sedge without harming good grass. In my case Saint Augustine grass. Would definitely recommend over products sold in the big box stores.

After trying so many herbicides to kill these noxious weeds in my flower beds, finally found sedgehammer + herbicide and it actually works! I followed the package instructions and sure enough, after about 5 days, the NUTGRASS began to yellow- what a wonderful sight to see after so many months of failure with other products. Sedgehammer is a SLEDGEHAMMER! Easy to mix, too!

SedgeHammer+ was easy to mix and apply with a one gallon pump sprayer. I saw the Sedge slowly begin to disappear but it took two applications to really end it. You have to be persistent because this weed is tough. This is the only thing I've found to be effective against it. Be aware that you may see it again next year so plan on getting enough to treat the Sedge a couple of years in a row.

This is the only product we've found that kills sedge grass. Follow the directions; it's not rocket science. It's sold here for a good price, ships quickly and does what it says it will do. What more can you ask?

The SedgeHammer combined with the Kinetic Surfactant has done a great job. One application seems to have stopped the sedge growth.
