Also make sure the weeds you want to control are listed on the label so you get the results you want. Always make sure the herbicide is selective. Nonselective herbicides target all plants, so if they are not applied very carefully, they could damage or kill your desired plants. If you want to protect your flowers, landscape, and garden but use an herbicide to control weeds, it needs to be selective.
