Treating Bagworms

I was beside myself with 100s of bagworms all over my evergreen trees and shrubs, killing them. I used ecosmart insect killer, killed many but still had a bunch left. I tried Sevin and no more bagworms! Love this product! It works and not too expensive!!

I plan on pouring it down a hole in middle of tree.
Sevin Concentrate will kill the adult termites that are sprayed with the product. It will not replace a termite soil treatment around the perimeter of the structure. There are products that you can use to treat in the tree directly. Just keep in mind that termites are there because the tree is already dead or dying, so be sure to take down dead trees before they cause other damage. You could use Alpine Ant and Termite Foam to spot treat exactly where the galleries are in the tree. This product has a foaming agent to help coat the inside of any voids. Alternatively, you could use Dominion 2L as a spray, again treating inside the galleries directly. We would recommend using a termiticide like Taurus SC against the foundation in a trench or drilled holes (where there is concrete). You can find more information on doing a complete treatment for termites in our Termite Control Guide.

I have a 32 oz garden hose sprayer. It's a TBSP dial 1-10. I'm assuming I add Sevin without diluting it to this sprayer since it's attached to a garden hose and dilutes for me.. I'm confused.
Because every hose-end sprayer is different, we cannot say specifically what setting you will need to use. The water is just acting as a carrier for the concentrate, so you should start with a low setting and see how much water you use to cover a small area and then adjust your settings accordingly. There is more detail in the chart of page 5 of the Sevin Concentrate product label.

I mixed Sevin and water in a pump spray bottle per the label instructions. Now I have a pump container half full. How do I properly dispose of what is left?
Sevin Concentrate disposal varies from place to place. The manufacturer recommends to contact the local sanitation dept for instruction.
