Treating Bagworms

I was beside myself with 100s of bagworms all over my evergreen trees and shrubs, killing them. I used ecosmart insect killer, killed many but still had a bunch left. I tried Sevin and no more bagworms! Love this product! It works and not too expensive!!

Sevin Concentrate can provide up to a 3 month residual on lawns and repeat applciations are only needed if renewed insect activity occurs. For lawns, apply 4fl oz per galllon of water per 250 sq ft of lawn.
For best results, apply when no rainfall is expected within 24 hours of the application and when the turf is no taller than 3 inches.
Per the product label, Sevin Concentrate can be applied "as needed," but cannot exceed a certain number of applications per year. The exact number of applications will depend on what type(s) of plants are being treated and can be found on the product label.

According to the Sevin Concentrate product label "This product is highly toxic to honeybees and other bees. Do not apply to plants in bloom." Almost all insecticides are toxic to bees as they are not really selective. You can help limit any effect to bees by being careful not to apply the insecticides when bees are actively foraging in the area.

No, Sevin Concentrate is an insecticide that can be sprayed on ornamental trees. It does not have any herbicidal properties to it and would not harm trees if applied according to the instructions on the product label.
