    Q
How can I tell if the water is mixing with Sevin mixture?
    A

When using Garden Tech Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer, you will first shake the bottle and then attach the garden house to the spray nozzle. You will then turn the water supply on. Push the safety tab and turn the control knob to the "water" position. You will point the nozzle at the targeted plants and turn the control knob to "on". The product automatically mixes with water. You will know that is it empty because the bottle will be empty. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

    Q
Will Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer kill and prevent roaches?
    A

Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer states on the product label it can be used for roaches around homes: Thoroughly wet the outside perimeter of the home where pests tend to congregate. Use on lawns is prohibited. Will kill target pests that are present only at the time of application. Pest must be directly contacted for product to be effective.

It will not prevent roaches as there is no residual.  For residual control around homes a better option would be something like Bifen IT.

    Q
This product dies after about a minute of spraying. I have tested the batteries and they are 1.5 volts each. How do the batteries go in the unit? All 4 batteries positive side up and negative towards the springs?
    A

The Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer does not use batteries to operate. This is a hose end sprayer that attaches to a garden hose and when turned to the “ON” position uses the water pressure from the hose to spray the product. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly of the product you are experiencing issues with for troubleshooting. If this is a Garden Tech product, you can Garden Tech by calling 1-866-945-5033.

    Q
There is only Rinse & Clean on my Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer RTS, there is no "ON" so how do I spray the insecticide?
    A

We are aware of the confusion with the manufacturer’s verbiage on the product label for the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer and what selections are actually on the container bottle and do apologize for this error.

With the setting in the “OFF” position, attach the water house to hose end connector and aim towards direction of application and away from you. Turn control lever to “MIX” to begin spraying, this will be setting at the furthest end on top of the RTS Bottle.

For additional questions, we recommend contacting GardenTech direclty at 866-945-5033, or via email on their website here
